Vilasira Rooms & Wines - Adults Only

The short version: A great location, nice rooms, nice outdoor area, but they need to learn a lot about taking care of their guests, make them feel welcome and appreciated. And a tip: If you don't speak Spanish at least reasonably well then don't bother joining the wine experience. The long version: Vilasira is invitingly located amidst beautiful vineyards and easy to find. The car park is locked: you need a mobile phone to ring them to open the gate. (Why no doorbell?) The parking is in the shade of large pine trees. The big, inviting door is to the restaurant. The reception entrance is a small door on the right. You enter a nice, welcoming area with a reception counter, small seating area where welcome drinks were waiting. The books and displays are nice, and highlight you being in a wine oriented venue! Receptionist spoke English, and check-in was smooth. Our room was up one of flight of stairs. It was as advertised on the site, beamed ceiling, window overlooking the patio, small but complete bathroom. The shower was great: large shower head and plenty of water. Nice fluffy towels. The double bed was large enough, firm and comfortable. The air-conditioning you have to manipulate carefully, but it is possible to arrange the airflow so it does not bother you when in bed. Outdoor area is nice, with seats, lounges and a swimming pool all by the side of their own 4 hectare vineyards. They have a few 'Bali beds' which are nice as they allow you to stay in the shade. (Read somewhere they charge for usage, but we used one without any comments or fees) We were there on Wednesday, and unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Instead we were offered a wine tasting experience, plus dinner in the wine cellars. At €35 pp we had high expectations, but unfortunately was a big disappointment. Yes, we were told the explanation was in Spanish. But we did not expect to be completely ignored by the guide. We were with 3 couples: 2 including ourselves speaking a little Spanish, 1 couple native Spanish speakers. The guide focused 100% on the Spanish speaking couple, ignoring the other 4 guests. --＞ So only take the Wine Not Experience when you're fluent in Spanish! We tasted 2 wines: a rosé and a red. Neither had anything to do with Vilasira! Strange, as the guide did mention there was wine from their own vineyards, but not for tasting and not for sale. Then we were led to the wine cellars where our dinner was waiting. Each couple was directed to a separate candle lit space. This was probably part of the experience, however a pity, as the group was just about coming together in the tour. And the guide disappeared, not to be seen again for the rest of the evening! Dinner was very disappointing, only a couple of plates of cold tapas and a bottle of the same wine we had for the tasting. So for us we felt the whole experience, 2 bottles of wine for the 6 of us for the tasting, a few plates of cold cuts and a bottle of wine was very much overpriced at €35 pp! Break

Este establecimiento tiene demasiadas carencias para el alto precio, 400€ por una noche en habitación superior plus. En primer lugar, y me parece el mayor de los fallos, no cogen el telf fijo y comunicarte con ellos en el telf móvil es muy difícil, no cogen el teléfono. Esto en un hotel es un fallo que no puede ocurrir. El menú de la comida x 30€ es muy normal. La atención del restaurante no destaca. Es un sitio "Rooms & Wines", lo normal sería que x una habitación que te piden 200€ tuvieras un par de copas de vino, detalle que les falta. La habitación superior plus, no entiendo lo de superior plus, en la habitación solo había una bañera, ninguna ducha, esto puede ser muy romántico, pero muy incómodo a la hora de ducharte. La habitación para el precio que tiene no es lo que esperas ver. Contratamos la experiencia "Wine Not", una cata de vinos x 90€ para 2 pax, y solo te dan a degustar 2 vinos, uno blanco y otro tinto. Eligieron la bodega de Vicente Gandia, los vinos los puedes comprar en un supermercado por muy bajo precio, no son vinos para una cata especial y mucho menos por el precio que cobran. La performance de la cata no está mal. La cena después de la cata, es en el sótano donde hay una especie de cueva donde antiguamente en los trullos hacían el vino, esta parte vale la pena, pero la cena no está para nada a la altura de lo que esperas. Todo frío, ningún plato caliente. Fiambre, quesos, dos sardinas ahumadas, tomate con queso, una coqueta fría y dura, y de postre dos mini vasitos de espuma de mango. Me quedé con hambre. Me hubiera ido a un restaurante. Del vino de la cena, es el mismo tinto de la cata, no te dan a elegir ni pagando. Solo vale la pena por la intimidad. A las 22h estábamos de nuevo en la casa que está pegada a la bodega, y sorpresa, no hay nadie para pedir una copa, tardaron 30 mins en servirnos un gintonic. Variedad de bebidas escasisima. La chimenea estaba apagada. La calefacción la mitad apagada. Parecía que querían que nos metieramos las 28 personas en nuestras habitaciones, a las 22h? Además las 28 personas no tienen para sentarse en el interior de la casa. Si volvería? No. No volvería a repetir. Por 400€ hay sitios que valen mucho más la pena que este. Las fotos no son lo que es. Deberían de mejorar muchos aspectos. El entorno es muy bonito una pena no saber aprovechar el lugar.

Une parenthese enchantée au milieu des vignes. Un endroit calme, une belle piscine, une suite bien décorée et confortable, un petit déjeuner bon et copieux dans le jardin, un déjeuner excellent au restaurant, une expérience Wine Not amusante, un personnel et une proprietaire attentionnés. Un bel endroit pour se reposer et visiter la région de Requena.

El lugar es espectacular con la piscina rodeada de viñas. La suite muy bonita, la cama confortable. El desayuno muy rico en el jardin. Hemos almorzado en el restaurante y todo estaba muy sabroso. La experiencia Wine Not nos ha gustado. El personal es muy amable y la dueña nos atendio super bien. Recomiendo este lugar para descansar y visitar Requena y la zona. ¡Volveremos cuando podamos!

Acudimos al hotel para pasar un fin de semana agradable con amigos, pero el propietario del hotel hizo lo que pudo por arruinarlo. El trato no fue bueno y las instalaciones no cumplieron las expectativas. Habitación sucia, cama diminuta e incómoda, sin minibar ni recepción de noche, en medio de la nada.

El hotel es una pasada, pero el finde semana que prometia ser increible, con amigos haciendo catas de vino, comiendo y cenando ahi, se turdio por los malos modos de los dueños y algunos miembros del staff. Es perfecto para ir en pareja pero no con amigos, ya que los dueños te hacen entender que les molestas con sus caras y cometarios. Una pena!
