Excellent hotel, very friendly, stayed before as a group, this time on our own. Front rooms face station, but not a huge problem. Breakfast could do with some fruit otherwise continental and basic. No tea facilities so if you fancy a cuppa bring a kettle etc..

Was across in Germany to follow Scotland at Euro 2024, and with a number of games I planned to attend in the north west of Germany, me and my friends decided upon staying in Remagen to give us a base where we could stay for our prolonged stay, as well as maybe somewhere more quiet that we could relax between games. After switching between apartments and other hotels, we settled on the Pinger Hotel. Located directly across from the train station, and right on the edge of the town centre, it was a great base for our stay. We were flying in to Frankfurt, and while we were delayed and resulted in us not arriving until 00:30, they sent us the code of the door, and our room keys were waiting for us upon entry. Nice spacious rooms, and very clean. Only thing that spoiled it (though not a fault of the hotel) was the guy building a boat in the court yard behind the hotel, as he would start work at 8am EVERY day, and would be kep awake by the sound of drilling, hammering and grinding. All in all though, great place to stay which served as a great base for our Euro 2024 adventure.

The pillows and the bed are perfect, the hotel is cleaned and breakfast include home made scramble eggs, this is fantastic and very good. Location close to the train station is perfect. The staff is warm, professional and welcome very well their customers. Thank you!

We have been going to the hotel for a long time and we have enjoyed the food and relaxing time with the place we are in a place where people can go and relax .A good place to get to see a lot of different Christmas markets in 5 days we have visited 8 of them.

We travelled with Rail Discovery, having done two holidays with them before, an excellent company. Pinger Hotel had it’s advantages , very close indeed to the station,making travel easy, when the trains were on time! And when we needed to pay for drinks, they were very reasonable. Leonard and Michael, Pinger were excellent hosts, Michael always attentive at the bar and Leonard accompanied us on a day out and shared his knowledge on local wines as well as wine tasting, part of advertised tour that could not go ahead because of the flooding disasters in the valley last year. The downfalls of the hotel are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, but more importantly no air conditioning-unfortunately if your room is the side of the train station you soon regret due to the noise pollution! The daily food was good, full compliments to the chef for the soups! Only one dodgy meal all week, but then at home I would never have chosen ‘pork neck’ so what possessed me here I don’t know! All in all an enjoyable Holiday in the Rhine Valley, so thanks to Pinger!

I stayed twice at The Pinger in May on my outward and return journeys by train from Edinburgh to Slovakia. I am an 'Eisenbahnfreund' and The Pinger is ideally situated on a very busy railway and adjacent to the station. What more could I ask for. The room was comfortable and I will probably be staying there again in September.

We travel to Pinger Hotel by car to Birmingham airport fly with Eurowings to Dusseldorf then catch the train to Remagen then cross the road to the Hotel, we leave home at 4am and arrive at the hotel at 1pm. The hotel is very friendly the food is at a very high standard very good selection on drink the rooms are cleaned every day .The station gives you a very good choice of travel with the large cities to explore Koln(Cologne)Bonn used to be the main city before the unification of Germany Koblenz famous for the German Corner where the Rhine meets the Mosel. Other places of interest are Trier Cochem Boppard Rudesheim (GI BLUES is said to be film here)Asbach Brandy is very good brewed here Queen Victoria enjoyed Riesling from this area. The Hotel supplies a VRM Bus and Bahn when you arrive at the hotel.

Basic hotel but very clean and friendly. Food options limited but OK. Would use again if we were to visit Remagen again. You will see comments regarding train noise, personally I didn't have a problem with it, but it is there. Be aware the town wakes early and you can hear station announcements
