House of Favor

Disappointed and scared. The master bedroom was not ready and whilst my wife was alone in the house checking the property over a man appeared in the house telling her in broken English that we could not stay in the property. This scared her and she could not get him to leave so had to call me to help in a panic. It took a couple of calls to the owner to work out who he was and to be assured we could in fact stay there. As we had nowhere else to stay we continued with our stay but were scared about whether someone would enter the property whilst we slept in the other rooms. Great Family Property We very much enjoyed our stay at House of Favor. I arrived late evening, so my boyfriend (who is local) was able to check in, stock the fridge, etc. He said that checking in/unlocking the door was a breeze. The property was clean and well appointed. More than enough towels for our family, which is always an issue for me. I see the listing says 1 bathroom, but there are actually TWO, which was a nice surprise. The master bedroom was great - super comfortable bed & I love an attached bathroom. The two add'l rooms were great - our two kids alternated where they stayed each night. The kitchen was simple, but had everything we needed to eat in most meals. All of the air/fans were easy to operate, and it was generally a pleasant stay for my family. We're planning on returning to Redding in Feb and will likely seek out this property again.

Is was very clean and nice! Beds are comfortable. Rooms were cool with A/C in each room. Took a walk early in the morning to Caldwell Park & found the Sacramento River Trail. It was a perfect walking path! Great location!
