Hotel Centrale Byron

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel Centrale Byron as the reception staff was very welcoming, helpful and multilingual. Even the cleaning lady was cheerful which made me feelvery welcome. The hotel’s location in the historic city centre is perfect for exploring the sights, shopping and eating out (the mercato coperto with its bars & restaurants is just around the corner). The train station is a 8-10min walk away. The room was practical & convenient: the furniture was not the most modern but well maintained and there was a desk, a fridge, a haidryer and a small tv. The bath room was tiny and I had to wiggle around the door to reach the sink. But everything was sparkling clean. My single room had a proper small single bed — something I only know from Italy. I slept well, though. The only thing that was a bit negative was that you could hear your room neighbours through the walls. Breakfast was served with a choice if cereals, jams, cold cuts & cheeses, breads and croissants as well as real Italian café prepared freshly.

What I needed Right In the middle of Ravenna’s old town. Very welcoming and nice older lady in the reception. The room is modern, and logically laid out. Very clean, good bed. And of course with wooden blinds AND blackout curtains you achieve complete darkness for sleeping. Some noise from the crowd outside, but closing the window helps.

Great location just off main central piazza. Basic level hotel but clean, good mattress and everything needed was provided, good continental breakfast. Great value.
