My wife and I spent a first night at the Sino Mansion and came back a few days later after a trip to the islands for another 2. The hotel feels new and super well maintained. Its location is perfect for us, centrally located, close to market with a few good local restaurants, markets and shops around. The staff is very nice and welcoming. My inability to speak Thai was not too much of a problem thanks to Google Translate. The room is pretty much as described on booking sites; spacious, clean and comfortable (serviced everyday) with a good bathroom. Excellent WiFi. Highly recommended!

What a great find this place was. A beautifully restored property with an amazing central location next to the old market. There's parking, too, so if you're driving there's plenty of space to park. While there was no breakfast available at the time of writing, there are enough cafes and street stalls around to fill your belly. Not too many restaurants as such in close proximity, though, so if you're looking for something more substantial you'll have to walk a little to find somewhere. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean. Lots of room for luggage, and a decent sized bathroom. They even had light switches near the beds, always a plus in my reviews. We had a large triple room which was comfortable and quiet (at the back of the hotel). I imagine the rooms at the front can get noisy in the morning so watch out for that unless you're an early riser. There are no lifts here and no rooms on the ground floor, but you can park outside the rooms on the first floor. Great find and I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in Ranong.
