The best vacation ever, everything was so perfect and everything is for children from animation to food and corner for kids during meals. Food is perfect, staff extremly polite and kind - grade 10 we will for sure come back

Unfortunately the reviews here are for the whole complex so it would depend on exactly where you stay as to how good your experience would be. We were all inclusive in the family block which really does cater for families with very small children. For us as a couple, however, we felt the food was of a poor quality,, there were restrictions and where you couldn’t couldn’t go. You were only allowed to use one buffet restaurant despite there being more than that in the complex. There was no bar as such at the pool, it was effectively a container containing a ladies and a gents toilet and the rest of it was a serve yourself Bar consisting of red wine, white wine and beer, all on tap. The beer was just about okay, both the wines were awful. They were tea and coffees as well and some soft drinks. No ice, if you wanted to slice a lemon well, you’re out of luck. Same arrangement in the buffet regarding drinks. There were only two of the bars you could use on the all-inclusive, one was in the kids zone but it’s still the same arrangements regarding drinks. The other was in an adjacent hotel at the rear overlooking a road. You did get served there, but it was still from the same pumps. There were cocktails available there, some were from tins, others were local spirits and the rum was absolutely disgusting Trying to end on a positive, the views were stunning and the staff were generally very helpful and the resort was very clean. We’ve paid a lot less than this in the area and got an awful lot better. It’s not a hotel we will ever return to.

Absolutely an INCREDIBLE location, with beautiful sea views. Resort was perfect, with GREAT staff, amenities and FOOD! Our room was spotless with everything needed for our and our pets stay! Breakfast every morning overlooking the sea, and a million dollar view of the stats every night from our balcony. DEFINITELY be back!

Returned for Second Year! Another lovely stay at the adult only hotel. This time with sea-view. Breakfast & brunch was exceptional. Pools were lovely. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend for a relaxing break. Only 45mins from Pula. We will return one day!

We have recently returned from a 2 week holiday at the Girandella Resort (Maro Suites). The resort is beautiful & the setting is stunning! It is also just a short walk to the pretty village of Rabac. We loved our stay here, particularly the outdoor activities offered and the opportunity to try SUP & kayaking. My youngest son also loved the football & I enjoyed the company/support of the running group in hot weather! Special thanks to Mihael & Lucija (fitness staff) for their support, friendliness & sense of fun during our stay. We loved our stay here & will definitely return in the future 😊 Heather Valente, Scotland

The resort is clean and the food is fantastic. Even the Maro Restaurant, which is very kid friendly, has great food. The snacks provided are healthy with plenty of fruit, sandwiches, salad, drinks, and dessert. We never went hungry. Our room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Tennis courts nearby and a currency exchange on site. The staff are kind and helpful, even to weary travelers.

I have been returning to Valamar in Rabac for the fifth year in a row with my family. We mostly stay in the Family hotel. We are satisfied with the accommodation, the facilities, the beach. But most of all we are satisfied with the service. We must mention the ladies who keep the rooms clean. They are very kind regardless of the workload and the rooms are always clean and tidy. Then the Marblu: nice, unobtrusive, efficient waiters (we notice that there is a lot of familiar faces which pleases us) with the new restaurant managers (Marica and Teo) doing a great job. They are all also very nice with kids which is a huge plus. The food offer is also excellent. We wish manager Kristian (we have to admit that we miss his positive energy) much success in Maro and we are sure that the guests are more than satisfied. And finally, but not the least important: a big thank you to Ms Irene, who is always there for us/guests for all small and big questions. See you again!
