Perfect for a layover, 10 min ride from the airport. This hostel gives you a taste of the local country experience, local food and people. If you want to experience a little bit of the culture of Ecuador, this is the place for you! And don't worry if you don't speak Spanish, the host speaks English so you'll be fine!

I had a really great experience overall and highly recommend staying here. They were beyond accommodating and are really kind. There was a whole mini kitchen to use as well as the outdoor hot tub which was phenomenal. Breakfast is also included and the portions are great!

Very convenient to the airport, and you can arrange shuttle/taxi service to and from the airport through the hotel for $10 each way. They were very responsive through *********** messaging and are so friendly in person. The included breakfast is excellent, and you can also have dinner at a reasonable additional cost—just let them know at breakfast if you'll want dinner that night. I loved my little room! Very cozy, and WiFi worked well. The property is lovely to spend time on. It's warmer here than in the actual city of Quito, so the pool is a nice perk, and they have a quiet, peaceful gazebo that was pleasant to sit and read and journal in. There's a sweet little pond near the main building with interesting-looking ducks. A step outside of the property takes you to nice views of a deep gorge cut by a river. This is a family-run business, and it was so nice to get to meet all of them—including the cat! Not everyone there speaks English, so if you don't know Spanish well, be prepared with Google Translate or similar. I look forward to staying at Hosteria Colibri Aeropuerto again in the future. You're close to the airport, so it's only natural that once in a while you'll hear the loud roar of an airplane engine—but they didn't come by as frequently as I'd have thought, and the sleeping hours were quiet. During the day, it was pretty cool to watch the planes flying overhead.

Santiago and his team were super friendly, accommodating, helpful, and respectful. The place is one of the best places I've stayed. Everything was very clean. The place is spacious, well decorated, and full of plants. The kitchen well equipped. Aesthetically pleasing. Of course, nothing can pursue the outdoor hot tub. It was a perfect place to relax for the night after a long day's of travelling. Very close to the airport is an added bonus. I can't wait to visit again!

Cannot recommend enough. We stayed only 3 days and wish we couldve stayed longer. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Would like to thank Philippè, (sorry if I've spelt that wrong), who was our guide for visits to the equator and the cable cars up the mountain to the swings, amazing!! We had a bamboo cabin with a hot tub and fire pit which was gorgeous. The beds were comfy enough for a good night's sleep after a busy day adventuring with my wife and 10 year old son. The room had a TV with Netflix should you want to relax and the WiFi was decent enough to use tablets, phones etc and stream films. Breakfast was included and it consisted of a mix of fresh fruit, papaya, melon, strawberries and banana. There was also a decent helping of scrambled eggs, which were delicious and croissants with a choice of jam. Plenty of options of tea and coffee. If we ever return to Ecuador and Quito we would definitely stay here again. Thanks guys it was awesome.

This hotel is beautiful - set on a farm with lots of green spaces and friendly pets. Definitely go for the junior suite if it’s available - there is a beautiful hot tub and you’ll have your own kitchenette. The staff were very friendly and eager to help and the airport pick up and drop off was seamless. I stayed here on three separate occasions during my time in Quito because I liked it so much. Great value for money with breakfast included as well!
