Ibis Quimper

Three night stay in May 2023 to tour the area by car. My room 24 while nice was incredibly small with possibly the narrowest entry door to a hotel room I have seen and a bedroom that was just too small for what they had in it which wasn’t a lot. While the room was clean and all the fixtures and fittings were nice it just felt too tight with a small space on one side of the bed and the end of the bed. There was an oversized lounge chair which looked like it may have converted to a single bed which would have made the space even tighter and while there was no desk there was a small round table that you could move to the chair to use a makeshift desk but it was incredibly heavy and awkward to move. There was no real closet or storage just some shelves and an open hanging area and a large wall mounted LCD TV. I had two suitcases and was constantly having to move these to get around. The bathroom like the rest of the space felt incredibly tight but was modern and clean but the lack of a door on the shower meant that the bathroom floor got very wet. The hotel had free parking and while I was there the hotel seemed to be being used by some of the participants in the Tour de Bretagne I think it was called and was filled with some beautiful classic cars. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Quimper near an industrial area and a car would be necessary as there wasn’t a lot within the immediate area within walking distance from what I saw. The hotel was fine but the rooms are just way too small for two people.

Good overnight stop The best bits were the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. The bed which was very comfy. The breakfast which was very good. The location which was quiet, had lots of parking and was an easy 30 minute walk to Quimper old town. Perfect for an overnight stay. The not so great bits were we couldn't get wifi anywhere in the hotel. The room was very very small. The bathroom needed a good clean.

Very warm welcome and excellent stay. Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast with great variety. I recommend this hotel. Thank you.

Very friendly and attentive staff

pas tres bon matelas, avait mis un surmatelas mais celui ci glissait , lavabo bouché et une odeur d'égout horible donc nous avons appelé l'accueil , ils sont venus de suite vraiment top mais il a mis produit au pin pour deboucher ,odeur de pin très forte mais le lendemain encore bouche nous avons prevenu l'accueil à notre départ.le ménage dans notre chambre pas top,par contre le personnel est très aimable ET RÉACTIF

Pas très bien indiqué, cet hôtel est très bien. Chambres confortables et très propres. Excellent petit déjeuner buffet. Restaurant très correct d'un bon rapport qualité prix. Mais un demi gâteau sec avec le café c'est nul! Pas de choix pour l'apéritif, que des basiques. Terrasse pas très bien entretenue. La poule, mascotte de l'établissement , c'est sympa.
