This well established hotel is worth seeking out. it is walking distance to the pedestrian area. Even though it is 25 years old, it has been kept well. I had room 205 and loved it. It is on the second level, overlooking the pool, comfortable with good lighting. Of special note is the large rain-shower. I was with a group and buffet breakfast was a little meager and took a while to get replenished. Of special note, there is a full service spa on the third floor with excellent services. The reception area is not helpful in providing information and doesn’t even have a spa menu to look at. Better to call - they are open 9am to 9pm; use ext.428 or 440. I did the “Relaxation Massage” then promptly fell asleep in my room for 3 hours. I was with a group and the one failing of the hotel was that on an early morning departure, there were problems with providing and early breakfast efficiently and quickly.

The spa double booked us for our anniversary which ruined our plans for the day. Despite confirmation, paying in full ahead of time, they still managed to double book. They made no attempt to accommodate us and actually tried to get us to do something we hadn't paid for in attempt to hide the double booking. The staff were rude, unapologetic and refused to do anything to help.

We held a after wedding party brunch. The brunch menu was very extensive and delicious. They had 10 diferente plates , fresh juices, fresh fruit station , egg station with fresh egg preparation they had a quesadilla stationThe waiters service was fantastic. The venue was very clean. The building decor was great. Very nice for events. We hosted close to 120 guests.

I was booked for a 90 minute Swedish massage. I arrived 5 minutes early. I was left waiting for 15 minutes past my scheduled time. I got up and left. I explained to the receptionist why I am leaving. This is an unacceptable level of service. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this spa.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! Due to a mixup with friends staying at the hotel, we discovered that every hotel card key opens every single room! Let me repeat: every key opens every room. There is zero security here. What's worse than this? We presented this to hotel staff by demonstrating the problem and the staff already knew this situation. They provided lame excuses (the hotel itself has security; we'll fix it tomorrow) but the truth remains that not a single room is secure (in addition, the inside lock in our room was broken). If you are planning on staying, cancel. If you have stayed in recent months, seek a refund. I will contact Visa and AMEX to inform them of the situation. This is BY FAR the most egregious breach of trust at a hotel I have ever encountered or have heard of. We departed the hotel about 11pm and secured a refund. If you are now staying there, I recommend you do the same. See the attached photos of the hotel staff who are complicit in this crime.

The hotel and rooms are stunning. Hard to believe such a big place exists in the middle of the historic centre. My room had a balcony with a view over the pool. The spa was very nice as well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with a late check out request. Only negative was my lunch, which was pretty average.

This hotel was in a great location for walking the Central Historic District. The room was clean, great view with small balcony, wonderful shower and amenities. Valet parking was quick and convenient. Only complaint was that the "included breakfast" amounted to a choice of juice or coffee and plain toast served with some runny fruit spread. Otherwise it was very nice.

Excelllent location, great facility. Strongly recommend to anyone if they pay attention to: - very poor breakfast - no good restaurant or pub - staff struggle to communicate in English, however they do their best to support - pool not as clean as you would expect Other than above, nothing to complain. Please don't make much expectations for above.

Over a month after I checked out, I received a random, phantom charge of over $200 on my credit card. To be clear, I paid for my stay in full upon check-in. When I checked out, I paid another $100 pesos for the soda from the mini-fridge. Everything was settled. When I called to ask about this, they said they have had lots of complaints about this happening to others too. The wi-fi was broken my entire visit and they stated multiple times that they had no idea when it would be fixed, but suggested it could be months. The thermostat was broken in the room and we had no heat. We told the front desk and they said they fixed it. When we returned, we simply found the thermostat turned off. I turned it back an and still no heat. After a couple nights of freezing our buns off, we found a space heater in the closet, which was fine, but it would have been nice if the staff at least mentioned the space heater. Once night, we got back to the hotel late, around midnight, and the doors to the hotel were closed and locked. We had to pound on the doors for about five minutes until eventually someone let us in. Staff was friendly, but front desk is powerless it seems to resolve any issues. I won't stay here again, which is a shame because it has a lot of potential if they would just stop ripping people off and would fix their wi-fi.
