You can park your car safe and free of charge in the garden of the hotel. Our reception was a little bit awkward. They could not find our reservation and started quarreling in front of us. Her husband got all the blame! Funny to hear. Our Markgrafen junior suite was at the second floor. No elevator so you have to walk up with your luggage. For older people a handicap and negative point. The suite was large, clean and separate bathroom with bath. Beds ok.Extra pillow available. No air but large fan available. Slept with windows open. No noise only church bels. The ceiling needs some repair, but for the rest the old building of 1899 is in good shape. At arrival you had to orden breakfast. Served well next morning and good quality. Outside at terrace with nice weather. The center of the city is a 5 min walk . The city of Quedlinburg is a gem!! Beautiful and one of the nicest German cities we have seen in our 77 years of travel!

Small hotel in a small "castle" or mansion. Very friendly service, could not get better. Excellent location, close to the town center. Parking on site. Had a nice bar open more or less the whole day with beer and drinks. Good breakfast with everything you may need.

The hotel was lovingly renovated. A beautiful place with an amazing view over the old town. Just a couple of minutes walk to the old town square. No elevator! All rooms are on the 3rd floor.

We really liked the history and the tour of the castle.The room was nice.There was a small fire in the maintenance room and the alarm went off.The staff extinguished the fire but did not call the fire department. That night the heating system and the hot water did not work. There is no staff in the building at night which did not make us feel comfortable. Things can happen but overall it was wonderful staying in a castle. We would definately stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised at just how grand this castle is and on large grounds overlooking the old town of Altstadt just a couple minutes walk. Our double room was large and well appointed and bathrooms were fresh. Romantic. An incredible terrace on the roof with views that no other property has in town. They were very kind to us. Happy to have chosen this hotel. Unique to other hotels anywhere.

Perfect location Fascinated place to stay, Especially when you hear the history and how the owners have renovated the whole house. A small castle or a big villa in the city center. Spacious room with old furnitures, we had a beautiful view from our room. Nice to sit in the bar in the evening, there was also a terrace on the roof where you could sit and have a drink. It’s not a place for disabled people because there were no lift and many stairs.

Ein Hotel, das perfekt in das historische Gebäude hineingestaltet wurde, mit großen, durchdacht eingerichteten Zimmern, einem schönen Frühstücksbereich und einer wunderbaren Terrasse mit Blick über Garten und Stadt. Das Personal war extrem freundlich, für Fahrräder gibt es eine Garage. Für das Frühstück konnte man am Vorabend einige "grundsätzliche Dinge" wie Brötchen/Brot, Wurst/Käse, Eier etc. vorauswählen, die am Tisch serviert wurden. Müsli, Früchte und Kuchen standen auf dem Buffet bereit. Eine gute Lösung für alle!

Das Personal beim Check-In, Check-Out und beim Frühstück war immer freundlich und erfüllte jeden Wunsch. Die Lage zur Innenstadt von Quedlinburg ist optimal. Für das Frühstück musste man den Tag zuvor angeben, was man morgens serviert haben möchte - aber auf Wunsch wurde alles am Morgen dann noch nachgereicht, falls man noch etwas anderes wollte.Es wurde zwar beschrieben, dass einige Zimmer nur über die Treppe erreichbar sind, dass sollte man bei einer Buchung aber auch berücksichtigen. Alle 10 Doppelzimmer des Hotels liegen im 3. Stock und das heißt: Von der Rezeption bis in den 3. Stock sind es 67 Stufen - mit Koffer nicht leicht und für ältere Gäste sehr beschwerlich. Abends ist das Hotel von der Innenstadt her nur über einen separaten Nebeneingang zu erreichen. Die Treppen zu diesem Nebeneingang sind uneben, mit Stolperkanten - schlicht eine Zumutung. Die Beleuchtung ist unzureichend. Hier besteht dringend handlungsbedarf.
