My friend and I shared a twin room at Citywell hotel for 3 nights and it was really comfortable!
We stayed on the fifth floor in a quieter room where there wasn’t a window facing the street. Fortunately the fifth floor has an artificial garden with a skylight in the center that allows inner rooms to also receive natural lighting through a large glass window.
Other things we appreciated:
- free use of the laundry
- the corridors having a fragrant tea scent
- convenient location

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! First, the staff upgraded my room for free. Second, the bathroom is spacious with separate shower facilities, toilet and wash basin. They even have a heater in the shower compartment to keep you from the cold when showering! The room is clean and quiet. You can ask for more water for free if required and there’s a bakery stall beside the hotel which sells bakery and coffee combo at a really cheap price for those who stay in this hotel. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My Feedback for This Beautiful Hotel
Pros:
The hotel is beautifully designed, with a lovely tea scent everywhere—very inviting.
During check-in, the staff upgraded our room to a larger one on a higher floor (Room 1913), which we absolutely loved!
The room is spacious and has everything you need.
One of the cleaners, an elderly lady, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Despite the language barrier, we communicated using hand gestures and Google Translate.
On our first night, we were looking for a place to have dinner, and the lady at the lobby counter was very helpful—she even assisted us in booking a Didi.
A convenience store is located just across the building.
The laundry room is well-equipped and very convenient.
The hotel also gave us complimentary gifts and fruits after check-in, along with two bottles of mineral water. Upon check-out, we received more free gifts—such a generous gesture!
Cons:
Since the hotel is next to a busy road, you can hear car honking quite often.
Unfortunately, none of the staff can communicate in English. If they could, our conversations would have been much smoother.
Overall:
I had an amazing stay in Quanzhou, and I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to this province!

Xiamenair is near a food street which opens late into the night. It takes about 20-30 minutes walk to the Old Town attractions. Better to get a taxi or didi e-hailing. The staff was very helpful. Fruits and light snacks are provided in the evening/night at the lift lobby on every floor. The sleep was excellent. It wasn’t noisy at all in my room facing the street. Hot water shower and the air conditioning work very well. I used CNY500 as cash deposit. But the service staff was kind to return me the deposit without having to wait too long.

Specially recommended [qiang][qiang][qiang]
Great location, quiet in the bustling city
Just near West Street, convenient parking,
It is also very convenient to walk to taste food
The rooftop open-air terrace can enjoy the whole view of Kaiyuan Temple. The aerial photography is very good
The most important thing is that the design is very attentive and the service is first-class
Complete supporting facilities
Scrolling subtitles at the entrance, hand-painted maps, four aromatherapy options, two pillow options, intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, etc.
I saw it was disinfected early in the morning. The overall cleanliness is also very comfortable.
The details reflect the attentiveness ❤️The shopkeepers are also very nice
Worth experiencing
Facilities: complete, Dyson hair dryer, makeup mirror, etc.
Mini bar: coffee, tea, sparkling water, cola, Sprite, everything is available.
Steam eye mask, warming patch, earplugs, special tea, etc. are very considerate
Welcome fruit: fresh 🍊🍎 colorful small tomatoes 🍅
Santonban coffee: delicious
Environment: elegant, the best view on the top floor☕️
Service: first-class 👍Everything is responsive, all young and handsome brothers 🧍♂️ are patient and enthusiastic.
My friend's clothes were stained with shacha sauce, and laundry detergent was provided immediately.
Especially the homemade tangerine peel paste and plum paste prepared when making tea, very delicious 😋
Both pillows are very comfortable, suitable for friends like me who choose beds
Super loving ❤️ homestay
Will come again

The facilities are good overall and the location is very convenient. You can walk to Guandi Temple.
It’s hard to find the car when you first arrive at the store. The driver will drop you off at the nearest place, and you need to find the entrance.
The overall facilities are quite new, but the three irons in the laundry room are basically broken. The service staff generally have a good attitude and are very service-minded. Only one of the girls needs to improve herself. She always blames the customers first. Although her colleagues have made up for it later, it is still a bit unprofessional.

I left Quanzhou today and can't wait to write a review! The location is very ideal, 100 meters away from the bustling West Street, and in the alley, it is quiet in the bustle. Walk to the twin towers of Kaiyuan Temple, there are countless delicacies in between, and my favorite is the unsweetened oil orange juice, a Quanzhou specialty! The courtyard is a typical southern Fujian style, with a deep well behind the entrance hall, bypassing the screen to the backyard, the layout fully corresponds to the so-called supreme freedom of Master Hongyi. The service lady is very considerate, and it feels like home. Love it, I feel that I will definitely come back!

My mum and I were very happy with our experience staying here back in January that we ended up extending our stay from 3 days to 1 week!
We especially enjoyed the beautiful environment, the delicious breakfasts, the free sweet drinks in the evening, and the friendliness of the staff members. Big thank you to 小金、小谢、小尤 and sorry my review came so late! We really appreciated you accommodating us for the extended stay and ensuring my mum with her bad knees wasn’t moved to a higher floor.

I wasn't sure what to expect of a minsu since I have always stayed in conventional hotels and was pleasantly surprised with the overall stay. The room was spacious, functional and clean and had all the amenities as if it was a regular hotel. The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking but I slept like a baby every night. Only wished the 'study' table was bigger though. And do note that there is no lift but they have one for luggage, so that's still OK. It is located at the quieter side of Xi Jie and if one turns right and continue walking, you will find interesting/quaint/independent local food options and even a 'short-cut' to the 1916 Creative Industrial zone (I just followed the crowd) where I spent couple of hours exploring. Which is a nice reprieve from the usual sights e.g. Xi Jie, temples. All in all, would recommend!

DDream-makerHighly recommend Quanzhou Yi B&B (West Street Ancient City Store), the accommodation environment and location have exceeded expectations, the B&B is very new and clean, and the health is very satisfactory; The location is very good, just in the bustling section of West Street, a few steps downstairs is the ”Lizhiyuan” - authentic and highly praised Quanzhou restaurant, two or three minutes walk is the south gate of Kaiyuan Temple, near the homestay is the ”Spring Send Lovers” drama Zhuang Jie's home 😘 B&B rooftop can punch in Kaiyuan Temple East-West Tower 👍
Chat with the boss, said that the local management is very strict, I really like the management of Quanzhou Cultural Tourism 👍
You can eat, drink, play, and take pictures when you go out. 📸👌🏻 Wall crack recommendation 👍

GGuest UserThe homestay is in a lively West Street, a small alley where the scene is taken in the middle of the noisy. Every day, the small white bus goes to various places in the ancient city. The location is very convenient. The geometry of Nanyang-style mosaics is dotted on the ground and wall, which feels a bit of a crossing. The room was very clean, well set, disposable bath towels and toilet pads were prepared.
The owner of the hotel is very enthusiastic, usually do not disturb each other, and drink tea at the hotel in the afternoon or evening when you are tired. It is very relaxing. The small terrace on the second floor is very nice, and the afternoon is blowing a small wind to drink tea. The owner prepared snacks, ice drinks and kung fu tea, and had time to experience the slow-paced Quanzhou life.
The whole is very good, experienced the fireworks in Quanzhou, the Citywalk bye

GGuest UserI'm quite satisfied. The landlord is very nice. He also came to help us if it was inconvenient for us girls to carry our luggage. If you have any questions during your stay, he will handle them in a timely manner! The overall measures are also very good, and it is highly recommended to go out and play with friends! The location is also very good. You can walk to West Street quickly or wait for Xiaobai at the door. And next to it is Zhongshan Park, you can also go for a walk.

GGuest UserI saw many hotels and homestays on Trip.com , and after full evaluation and comparison, I chose our room type. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the community environment is beautiful. Standing on the balcony, you can overlook Quanzhou and see the twin towers of Kaiyuan Temple and Jinjiang from a distance; The West Lake Park 800 meters west is like a big oxygen bar, the scenery is pleasant; a few hundred meters from West Street, it is very convenient to go to various attractions. The butler service is quite comprehensive, and we have provided us with travel and food reference in advance. This stay experience is very good! Worth recommending to friends!

XXiaocaizi89This time I stayed at Hanting, Xinmen, Quanzhou, and the overall feeling exceeded expectations. Hygiene: reassuring, the room is clean and refreshing, and the bedding is clean and stainless. Hotel service: warm and thoughtful, the front desk lady responded quickly, and basically can be on call if there is a need. Although the buffet breakfast is not extremely luxurious, it is a combination of Chinese and Western, clean and delicious, especially the freshly cooked noodle stall warms the heart and warms the stomach, enough to start a day of vitality. Location: is the biggest highlight, not far from the bustling city and core attractions, the transportation network is developed, walking, bus white or shared bicycles can be easily explored. Step out of the hotel, you can feel the charming scenery of Quanzhou - ancient red walls, temples, blending historical charm and modern vitality, making the journey full of surprises. Very cost-effective, it is a convenient and comfortable choice for business travel or leisure travel, and I will stay at this hotel next time I travel.

GGuest UserThe B&B is located on Zhongshan Street, which is convenient for travel. Mili is right at the door, and the Bell Tower is 100 meters away, and Kaiyuan Temple is 700 meters away. Although it is on Zhongshan Road, it is not noisy, and it is quiet in the bustle. Clean and sanitary, bath towels and towels are all disposable. You can walk out of the Bell Tower to Zhongshan Road for food, and it is also convenient to buy clothes, shoes and other shopping.

AAnonymous UserI went to the B&B observation deck early in the morning to watch the sunrise. It was really super beautiful. It is very close to Yuan Temple and has a good view. I feel that the view room on the top floor can see such a beautiful sunrise. I will choose this room type next time. It is very close to West Street and it is convenient to travel by car.
