The room is consistent with the photos. I like the decoration style. The various facilities are beautifully arranged. The sanitation is very clean. You can check in with confidence. The hotel is in a busy area with convenient transportation around. The sound insulation is good and I slept soundly all night. I will choose this hotel next time. The service staff is very enthusiastic and the whole check-in process is pleasant. The room layout is very simple and warm, and all kinds of facilities are complete. It is a very satisfactory stay experience and worth recommending!

PPerezhernandezVery cute and charming hotel which it is actually a museum! Just on the side of the entrance to the Shanhai Pass and in walking distance to several attractions. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Can not thank you enough for all you great attentions and help also recommendations during my stay. The hotel restaurant definitely a must to try the food is delicious! Definitely will be back to this hotel and recommend to anybody visiting Shanhaiguan!!

GGabi NettoJ had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites.
The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort.
The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker.
One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there.
In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good!
Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs.

The hotel and outdoor facilities convince by a great design and are top maintained. Absolut top Position directly at the wide and clean sandy beach. An absolute highlight is the pool on the roof with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy your stay. The indoor pool area is als very nice.
Our room with large balcony and view of the beach was very clean and spacious. In the outdoor area is a large shallow children’s pool. Nice corners and seating areas invite you to linger. The beach directly in front of the hotel is particularly suitable for families with children. The Hotel also has a children area.
The breakfast buffet offers a large selection of delicious Chinese and Western dishes.
We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last minute!

There are many restaurants nearby, and the hotel's restaurant is also famous, which is convenient for eating. The parking lot of the guest room department is separate from the parking lot of the restaurant department and is managed by several security guards. Parking is convenient and safe, and it creates a quiet environment for the guest room department. The guest room is large, the equipment is easy to use, and the hygiene is good. However, living on the 5th floor, the strong smell of kitchen fumes drifted into the room at mealtime, which was very unpleasant, so I had to close the windows tightly. The breakfast was good.

Overall, we were highly satisfied with our stay and recommend this hotel for its excellent location and amenities.

CCandiceyuequqiIt was a good decision to stay at Senzeyuan. I read a lot of guides and they all said that hot spring hotels are too crowded, too humid, and too noisy. In fact, it is true. My child's eyes were inflamed, so I ordered eye drops to be delivered. The shuttle bus brought them to the front desk of the hotel. The service was very considerate, and they also gave me souvenirs before I left. To be honest, the beach experience was crowded and dirty. The water quality was not very good, and there were jellyfish everywhere. I was stung several times. But overall, it was a very happy family trip.

But the hotel has very little understanding of privacy of their guests. A hotel personal entered our room without an invite while I was dressing up, another hotel worker took our picture without asking, front desk manager keeps all foreigner passport pictures in her personal phone. Should not hotel provide working phone to its personnels if it’s required to keep personal information from guests on phones?k
Also hotel price does not match the service they are providing. The hotel room surfaces was in dust, and they do not clean after each visitor, we found pair of shoes from previous visitors.

GGuest UserIt was such an unique experience to stay in a hotel inside the ancient city wall, it felt like travelled back to China in the olden days.
As it was off-peak season when we visited 山海关，we were upgraded to a family room, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed.
As it was rather cold and we were tired from all the walking, we decided to make life easy by eating at the restaurant within the hotel. We didn't expect much though. But..., we were much much more than surprise the dishes were Ace standard, be it in presentation or taste! A big big thumb up!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.
P.S the teapot was not filled with tea but a yummilicious 松茸汤。
