Rehana Sharm Resort - Aquapark & Spa - Couples and Family Only

If you are looking for a place to spend 2 days it is pleasant, but for vacations unfortunately I do not recommend it, the cleaning is not good, the food is also not good, I found the service terrible, he does not care about the guest, if it is to take vacations and stay more than 2 days I do not recommend this hotel for vacations.

All my family including a year old baby Came home with E. coli We where careful what we ate and drunk Will never visit again Staff were rude and quite aggressive at times All they kept saying is give me paper money Even after we had paid Staff did not smile They cleaned with dirty rags attached to a pole Toilets in the hotel stunk awful The beds and pillows where comfortable Take yr own coffee U will have to take your own alcohol if you r a drinker As the alcohol is awful It was lite up well of a night time Not any night life

So, we went here for a week in December. My partner snapped it up at steal for £700 all inclusive including flights. The reception staff on arrival were efficient but not warm and welcoming as you'd expect in a resort. The staff who helped tske our cases to our room were lovely and polite. Coming from the UK we were put in the 2000's rooms. As were all other brits that we spoke too whilst at the Rehana. The rooms were tired but clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was cleaned most days and bedding changed twice in the 7 days we were there. The balcony was pointless. It never got any sun so was never used. The shower was freezing. No hot water the whole time we were there. I know it was warm outdoors but it doesn't matter where we travel too I like a hot shower and never had an issue with hot water until the Rehana. We were told it's heated by the sun so that's where the issue lies. Onto the food. There was a large enough selection but the buffet was clearly aimed at the Russian guests which made up a massive part of the clientel within the hotel. The outside BBQ area was better but repetitive. There was only 3 nights I could eat here. I wouldn't class myself as a picky eater but I struggled to enjoy my meals. The queues for food were ridiculous. Especially when you had the Russian customers cutting lines constantly. Them and their children. Zero manners especially from the adults and its plain to see they are held at higher esteem than other nationalities. Its blatantly obvious. The resteraunt staff were OK but the lads clearing plates have their work cut out for them but always had a smile. Tip them if possible at the end of your stay, they deserve it. The food indoors was more often than not cold and stewed, even if you arrived when it first opened. Often inedible for fear of getting sick. We ate out most days which isn't ideal when you go all inclusive so make sure you take plenty of money with you. They accept egyptian pounds but prefer American dollars and everything is priced in dollars within the hotel. Now the all inclusive drinks. Beer available is Egyptian Stella. Its OK but you get sick of it quick. No proper sized glasses. Tiny little plastic cups with about 2 mouth fulls in. Same with the spirits. Tiny cups, tiny measures and tastes massively watered down. Didn't matter whether you got vodka, tequila etc it all tasted the same. Cocktails were a waste of time. We went out to a shop across from the hotel and just bought Heineken from him and he also has a selection of spirits to buy too so best to utilise that. Really cheap too. Outdoor pools were well maintained but literally ice cold and thats not an exaggeration. Painfully cold. One that's mainly for kids was a little warmer but very busy and majority of the sun loungers were broken. We made use of the pool near the resteraunt. It has a pool bar, loungers are comfy. If you tip the bar bar man he gives you slightly larger glasses rather than plast
