Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay

Excellent hotel, very clean. The food was good, especially the dinner grill, which was great, and every day was different. We had special Valentine's Day dinner, and it was really special, nicely presented. Nice beach, a lot of fun with the animation team. Great evening show.

The hotel lobby had a lovely inviting scent and the beach resort was clean overall. We traveled as a group of 21 guests and allocated roomed in building 11. The holiday experience was let down by initially a weak flushing toilet followed by no water at all at building 11. I was informed that they were looking into the pipes and water would soon come back on as I was using the shower mid way. The water was turned back on after 30 mins but was brown water. The following day there was no water to the building as others in the group had no access to water. The bathroom sink, toilet and shower water was not available in any of the rooms. The operator informed me the water would be unavailable from 9am to 11pm which was totally unacceptable and the solution would be to use the wash facilities located at the gym. I did not accept this and this should not be offered to guests as a solution to the matter. Staff were not proactive in offering alternative rooms for us until we complained at reception. The hotel seems to give preference to guests coming from European countries that will spend and tip in Euros. All the hotel activities and spa facilities are promoted in Euro currency.

We have just returned from the Caribbean world after staying for the week after a Nile cruise and loved every minute. The staff are excellent and strive to make your stay as good as possible, everyone welcomes you with a friendly smile, the gardeners work really hard to keep the garden immaculate, the cleaning staff never stop cleaning and the restaurant staff work tirelessly, replenishing food, serving drinks and clearing tables. Reception staff were always helpful and cheerful. The activity staff are a lovely group and encourage you to join in but don’t push it if you don’t want to. One of our party was unwell, the staff organised food to take to the room and made special drinks to help ease their cough. The food was varied and well cooked, we tried all but two eateries and all were good, we favoured the beach bar for lunch where pizzas and kebabs were served. The rooms are large and cleaned daily with clean towels and replenished toiletries, everything worked well, there are two English channels on the tv which was good. The beach is long, we walked the length most days and clocked up about 10000 steps, there are plenty of sun beds on the beach and also round the pools. The only complaint is there is no WiFi, it says free WiFi in reception but this is very hit and miss, it is also very expensive to buy their WiFi, 45 euros for 10 days, I had an eSIM on my phone so was able to access data but I do feel there should be free wifi in all areas, having said that I would defiantly return and would recommend this hotel.

I’ve been to many resorts in different countries but first time in Egypt and this hotel was surely the best option. Beautiful room with terrace and view on the pool concentrated in the middle of the resort. Food was not that good, not so many good looking options but spaghetti were always the best choice. Also snacks for lunch in Cuba bar like pizza or shawarma were tasty. Entertainment team is amazing, many activities for everyone. I participated in almost all of them such as aquagym, Latino, Zumba, step aerobics, belly dance and many evening shows (also a disco in Hurghada is possible). We spent Christmas there and the programme for 24th and 25th was unique. Thanks all the animation team for taking us as a part of the team. Special thanks to Lo, Mezo and Alex - you made our stay even better. All the hotel staff is very nice and friendly, always smiles on their faces. Thank you all for unforgettable vacation. Linda

I was in this hotel from 14 until 21 of November . We asked our tour agency to plan an early check in from 14-th 2am. But nobody on reception knows about this, nobody checked this in theirs system . We were slept 6 hours at lobby. Only at 11 o’clock we were checked in. Nobody passing a private transport to the hotel ( cars were approved by touristic police) . I I walked 2 kilometers to the checkpoint every time. When we were going to fly out and pay for additional services purchased from the hotel, we were not accepted in principle in cash due to the poor quality of the money. They were a little dirty (there was no debit card, for certain reasons). Thus, we argued for half an hour and delayed the car that was waiting for us. Animation is very good! I especially want to highlight Kitty, a very friendly and sociable girl. Food was good. I liked the infrastructure,very good and comfortable beach

It was a really beautiful hotel. The complex is large, the pools and gardens are always beautifully maintained, the beach is fantastic, just like the sea. I can only praise the staff who gave the guests an enchanting holiday. Each of them is super nice and friendly. I especially liked the animator team that entertained young and old every day and always ensured a good mood and not only that, friendships were also made. Each of them is especially in their own way and just like the hotel.
