Vienna Hotel (Changdu Chama Plaza Qiangbalin Temple Branch) ★★★

📍 Daji Community, No. 126 Qiangbalinsi Road, Qamdo

"Qamdo is like Chongqing, parking is difficult, and the hotel has its own parking lot. Breakfast is OK, that is, the fried eggs are not placed in the place where they are freely available, and the hall smells of smoke. But there is a national market around the hotel, very distinctive, the staff is also warm and thoughtful, the room is full of oxygen, it is a cost-effective choice. The multigrain bread and toast at the fresh language cake shop at the hotel takeaway is very suitable for road meals. The millet porridge in the three-meter porridge house is very good. It is recommended to friends with stomach discomfort on the plateau."

"The hotel is very close to the bus station. The coach from Shangri-La to Qamdo arrived at 1 am. I contacted the hotel in advance and kept the room waiting for me to stay. Although the hotel conditions are average, I simply wash and sleep immediately. Although the air conditioner is not very good, it has a little heating + electric blanket. Sleep well at night and it's not noisy."

Ba'erma Sculpture Workshop Homestay ★★
"The rooms were clean and tidy, and the shared restrooms were adequate. There was a copperware craft workshop to visit, making it a good place to stay for exploring Karma Monastery. Suggestions for improvement: the room carpets need cleaning, the kitchen needs better hygiene, and it would be better if the charging stations were more readily available and functional."
