Cloud Nine Lanka Resort Wilpattu

It was an OK stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was a bit of a walk to get to the room and a bit difficult to maneuver when it was dark. We had major problems communicating with the staff who mostly did not speak English. The food had to be ordered the day before and eaten the next day, possibly a result of few guests and less supplies in the kitchen. I still got my curry served cold after a long inexplicable wait. I think the staff did what they could for the guests but it really felt like they avoided contact to avoid speaking English. Training needs to be added to make the staff comfortable in their roles.

I was staying here for about five days and had a really great time! The staff is super friendly, especially the General Manager. They had an open ear anytime I needed something. Food and service were pretty delightful as well. The small bungalows were very clean, had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location was quiet and I always had a good sleep. I enjoyed the clean pool facility and the overall design of the place very much. Came to Wilpattu for a safari and to do some nice activities. Luckily, the hotel didnt disappoint. Theres plenty of things you can do directly from the hotel, including boat rides, catamaran, kayaking and my personal favorite - a Loris Tour during Nighttime ! Such beautiful and cute creatures. Can only highly recommend doing it!! I had a great time and would recommend this place for anyone looking for tranquility and adventure. Thank you for the nice stay!

What a lovely place! The location is fantastic for getting to Wilpattu; there are two entrances into the park and the south entrance is a bit easier to get in. The hotel itself was lovely (lovely pool, the crow's nest is fun, food was great) and management stood out as responsive. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at Cloud Nine Wilpattu by Aaradhya as a couple during the last stop of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to end our journey before flying home. Nestled in the heart of nature and surrounded by the stunning beauty of Sri Lanka, this boutique hotel is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is peaceful and unique—just what you would hope for in a boutique experience. The location is ideal for visiting Wilpattu National Park, and we used the opportunity to go on two unforgettable safaris. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, especially considering the remote location. What really stood out to us was the hotel’s strong commitment to sustainability and supporting the local community. Not only is the food locally sourced and delicious, but the hotel also employs local staff, offering opportunities to individuals who might not otherwise have access to jobs in the hospitality sector. While English is spoken by the staff, for more detailed inquiries, the hotel manager is always available. He runs the hotel with great dedication, warmth, and professionalism, making guests feel truly welcome and well cared for. One highlight was the hotel's viewing platform, where we could take in the breathtaking natural surroundings. All in all, this was a truly special experience—peaceful, authentic, and memorable. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those looking for something beyond the ordinary.

We had our annual staff trip to Wilpaththu and Cloud 9 was our stay for 3 days. Amazing service by the staff who accomodated our requests to the fullest. Sameen the GM was always around to make sure his guests were taken care of to the utmost comforts. Rooms were to the standards as anticipated and the food tasted good too. I had a wonderful stay at Cloud Nine Wilpattu by Aaradhya Hotel in Samagipura, Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The environment is very calm and peaceful — perfect for relaxation.
