Wattura Resort & spa It is one of the best experiences I have had in hotel service, highly recommended to come as a couple or as a family, the atmosphere is like being at home but more pampered. The place is magical, our room with a view of the beach was very cozy, spacious, with a private pool, air conditioning and a fan. The pool was of good temperature, good size, the beach was clean and very natural, and the sunsets were incredible. The staff is very friendly. Our host, Tharaka, is a very helpful guy. He was attentive to us at all times, both with our food and towels, and making reservations for the spa. He was a very accommodating guy. We also had a very romantic anniversary dinner near the beach, and they set a very romantic table.thank you so much For making your anniversary and vacation an unforgettable time.

This beautiful resort is on the Waikkala Beach l, Negombo, facing fabulous Indian Ocean. Visited this resort with 2 families. It is extremely peaceful and calm establishment surrounding nicely maintained and clean outdoors. The check-in process was super fast and they allowed early check-in as well. The tamarind drink served as a welcome drink was superb. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. Equipped with all A-Z amenities. Bathroom was fabulous. We stayed river front suits. They serve ala-carte at the restaurant. The portiins were considerably larger. Tastes is awesome. The restaurant staff is very attentive and fulfilled every aspect. The large swimming pool is nice and clean, facing the beach. You could enjoy a lovely sunset from the pool on a clear day. There is a kids play area with a water park and gaming arena. Something I see very rarely in resorts in Sri Lanka. Extremely kids friendly and kiddos enjoyed it to the max. Overall 5 star stay with full of peace and clamness. Special thanks to the manager Mr. Sujeewa for the excellent service rendered and allowing late chaeckout as well. I must mention Mr. Sanjeewa and the crew from restaurant, Ms. Sakuni and Piyumika at the front office, Mr. Wishwa and Mr. Hiruna for their remarkable service. Kudos for that !

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Wattura Resort and Spa in April 2025 with our three little kids. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and accommodating to our family’s needs. The setting is absolutely serene, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to unwind instantly. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly designed—perfect for a family with young children. The kids particularly enjoyed the kids’ water area and pool, which were both safe and entertaining. The food was fresh and delicious, with enough variety to please both adults and kids. We only stayed for a day, but the experience was so memorable and relaxing that we wished we had booked a longer stay. Highly recommended for families looking for a luxurious and kid-friendly getaway.

Wattura Resort was the perfect escape—peaceful, beautiful, and so relaxing. Our suite was spotless and spacious. The food was fresh and delicious, and the whole place had such a calm, laid-back vibe. A special thank you to Pasindu for his exceptional service—he was so helpful, friendly, and really made our stay extra special. Also a special mention to the friendly lady in the reception. I think her name was kusel . Thank you for a great service. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return!

We had the best experience at Wattura Resort & Spa. The food was incredible and the service was first class especially from Tharaka who was super helpful. Beautiful rooms with the best shower I’ve ever had! The pool was the perfect temperature and incredibly relaxing. Basically haven’t moved from the resort in 3 days….superb!

Outstanding stay at Wattura Resort & Spa. The food at breakfast and dinner was amazing, Navindu our waiter was super helpful and efficient. The pool was glorious and the rooms are out of this world. I would not hesitate to recommend and I would definitely stay here again.....5 stars!

We had an unforgettable stay at Wattura Resort and Spa! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and refreshing welcome drinks, setting the perfect tone for a wonderful vacation. Our host, Tharaka, went above and beyond to provide exceptional care throughout our stay, ensuring every detail was attended to with incredible precision. Our private villa, overlooking the serene sea, was a true haven of luxury. The food made for us was exceptional, with the seafood being especially delicious and fresh—a real treat for the senses! Another highlight was the in-villa spa experience, where we indulged in a soothing body scrub and a relaxing soak with aromatic bath salts—pure bliss. The private waterbed was a fantastic addition, offering the perfect spot to unwind and bond as a family. Our two little ones had an amazing time enjoying the villa and all its wonderful amenities too! Wattura Resort and Spa has truly redefined personalized hospitality and indulgence. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Sri Lanka and another memorable here. Thanks heaps Tharka and the team for making our trip so memorable and relaxing!

Our experience at Pappali Restaurant was truly exceptional, thanks to the incredible staff and stunning views. A special mention to Mr. Eranda, Pasindu, and Anju for their outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The room was impeccably clean, and the restaurant staff was very attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food was good, though there is room for improvement in terms of variety and taste. However, the highlight of our visit was the cocktail at the bar it was absolutely fantastic! We truly appreciate the warm and welcoming service and look forward to returning soon.
