This beautiful resort is on the Waikkala Beach l, Negombo, facing fabulous Indian Ocean. Visited this resort with 2 families. It is extremely peaceful and calm establishment surrounding nicely maintained and clean outdoors. The check-in process was super fast and they allowed early check-in as well. The tamarind drink served as a welcome drink was superb. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. Equipped with all A-Z amenities. Bathroom was fabulous. We stayed river front suits. They serve ala-carte at the restaurant. The portiins were considerably larger. Tastes is awesome. The restaurant staff is very attentive and fulfilled every aspect. The large swimming pool is nice and clean, facing the beach. You could enjoy a lovely sunset from the pool on a clear day. There is a kids play area with a water park and gaming arena. Something I see very rarely in resorts in Sri Lanka. Extremely kids friendly and kiddos enjoyed it to the max. Overall 5 star stay with full of peace and clamness. Special thanks to the manager Mr. Sujeewa for the excellent service rendered and allowing late chaeckout as well. I must mention Mr. Sanjeewa and the crew from restaurant, Ms. Sakuni and Piyumika at the front office, Mr. Wishwa and Mr. Hiruna for their remarkable service. Kudos for that !

Our experience at Pappali Restaurant was truly exceptional, thanks to the incredible staff and stunning views. A special mention to Mr. Eranda, Pasindu, and Anju for their outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The room was impeccably clean, and the restaurant staff was very attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food was good, though there is room for improvement in terms of variety and taste. However, the highlight of our visit was the cocktail at the bar it was absolutely fantastic! We truly appreciate the warm and welcoming service and look forward to returning soon.

We had a really great stay at the Wattura resort. It was very peaceful and enjoyable. Food was good and Service was really good too. We were looked after well by Tharaka. He was super responsive to our needs and was very accommodating. Overall a beautiful property.

We were extremely lucky to start our Sr Lanka tour with a stay in this wonderful hotel. All the staff were superb, friendly, hardworking and extremely kind. Our room, living area and bathroom were extremely spacious. The food was excellent too. The hotel grounds lead onto the beach where you can see a wonderful sunset. Thank you to everyone for a relaxing, amazing time. We would recommend and would love to return.

Our stay was marked by exceptional service from start to finish. The staff were incredibly attentive, always greeting us with a friendly smile and going out of their way to accommodate every request. You truly feel pampered and well taken care of here. The facilities are impressive on paper. The room we stayed in was spacious, spotless, and boasted a stunning view of the lagoon. The gym was well-equipped, the spa provided a relaxing escape, and the pool area was well-maintained with plenty of loungers, including some with views toward the beach. Breakfast was lavish, offering an extensive selection of dishes – almost overwhelming at times – and the evening dining experience was also enjoyable. However, despite these positives, the price-to-quality ratio fell short in our opinion. Both the room rates and the dining prices are on the high side, and while the amenities are plentiful, they lack a certain charm and atmosphere that would make the experience truly special. The setting is beautiful, but it feels like it’s missing a cohesive ambiance to tie everything together. In summary, if you’re seeking exceptional service and a well-maintained environment, this property delivers. But if you’re expecting a vibrant atmosphere or a stronger connection between price and overall experience, it may leave you wanting.

One of the best family resort we ever stayed in our travel history. Beautiful quite serene location. Huge rooms and amazing cleanliness. The biggest plus is the staff. They are all warm and ever smiling. The staff, Pasindu was our favorite and he was always smiling and helpful. He served us right and took care of our family throughout. Very honest and diligent person. Food was yummy, first time we ate all our dinners in a hotel we stayed. Sri Lankan food is brilliant. In our 3 nights stay with our 3year old kid we never felt home away. Thank you wattura for the beautiful memories. You have a wonderful staff and the facilities.

One of the best boutique hotel in Sri Lanka with classy suites in calm quiet environment. Service of the team is vey friendly and it’s noteworthy to mention the exceptional services of Sanjeewa and Namidu. Must visit place to relax in the beach of western coast in Sri Lanka.
