Hotel Golden Palace

We booked an AC Deluxe Sea View Room for 3 nights, and the experience was horrific. The room was poorly maintained- door locks were broken, the rooms and furniture were dirty, the toilet was not cleaned, and the exhaust fan in the washroom was not functioning. We had to repeatedly ask and solve every single issue in the room because there was no better alternative room available. To make matters worse, the beds were infested with bed bugs. Despite paying a hefty price for a room with basic amenities, such a substandard experience is unacceptable. I suffered multiple bites, and when we initially complained, the hotel staff denied the issue. It wasn’t until we showed them the bugs in the bed that they acknowledged the problem. Even then, the manager, Mr. Laha, dismissed it as "just a normal bug." Thankfully, another hotel staff member admitted it was indeed a bed bug infestation. Throughout this ordeal, Mr. Laha was extremely disrespectful. He continued to lie and refused to offer any compensation or apology for the inconvenience and poor service. This level of negligence and unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and we left deeply dissatisfied with the overall experience.

Very bad experience rooms were badly maintained no makntaince at all. Damp wall due to leakage in ac. They are charging such a huge amount and giving nothing in return. I think make my trip also must check all amenities before enlisting hotels. Very bad experience

Old property without maintenance. Bedshits and other items are old and not properly cleaned. Furniture and toilet fittings are broken or licking water. No exhaust fan was working. Swimming pool area are not maintained including changing room. Untrained ill mannered manpower appointed and pool is not cleaned. Bar is closed. Only soft drinks are available. There is no mini-bar in the room. No additional services are avila be instead of several request.

Hotel location is awesome very nice view from balcony maintenance is poor, bathroom was not that clean food is good

All was good, the food, management, the worker, location was just osum near the sea and the view of the sea from the balcony was unbelievable.

Property is just beside golden beach puri. It's neat and clean with good swimming pool and restaurant.

Rooms were not clean, terrible room condition, they should take a look at the room, parking was not available

It’s terrible experience. I am in depression after staying in this hotel. Suggest everyone not to book this hotel

Very recently we visited Puri and stayed at Hotel Golden Palace Puri on Blue Flag Beach. It's Location is Excellent. Most of the rooms are Sea Facing and very spacious with huge balcony with all modern amenities. We checked into Deluxe Sea Facing Room 1003 . But unfortunately the washroom was poorly illuminated with constant water leakage in the floor and there was no bathroom Hanger in the bathing cubicle to keep the Towels etc. I think management should look into the regular Maintenance of Room and washroom of all the rooms. The Sea Facing Restaurant in the ground floor is excellent and offers mouth watering delicacies. The Complimentary Buffet Breakfast was awesome. Moreover one can enjoy the swimming pool as well. Overall we enjoyed our Stay very much and visit again soon with friends.
