Kapas Turtle Valley

This place is amazing. It truly is a little slice of paradise. The water and beaches are lovely in this part of the world, but what truly sets this place apart is the loving care that the owners take when it comes to each and every guest. They are very responsive and helped us with all of our travel including holding the boat a few extra minutes so we could make the connection. The resort has a natural, laid back feel and is at the same time so comfortable, clean and well cared for. They are great hosts and if it is possible, even better chefs. The food was out of this world. An added bonus is how easy it is to access, yet how inaccessible and remote it feels once you have arrived. It's like the most brilliant gem hidden in plain sight. I can't thank them enough for the perfect weekend.

So glad we choose this resort bcus it is so private and secluded from the main beach. The main beach was so crowded and full of one day tripper until we feel so suffocated. Stay this resort include breakfast, lunch and dinner is optional but we alwyas opt for their dinner bcus we are too lazy to walk to the other side of the beach. Food was delicious and the owner Nicolas was super friendly and accomodaing. Room was comfortable and toilet very clean. No air conditioning but at night is cooling and windy. So far the beach are clean, no sand flies except it was abit rocky. Overall 4d3n stay was satifying and happy. Will come back again.

I want to gatekeep this perfect slice of heaven but realistically I will be bringing my friends and family here because it is toooooo good not to share. Best snorkeling of my life! We were swimming in the ocean multiple times a day, a truly healing experience after dealing with some travel chaos just the day before. All of my stress truly melted away while floating in the crystal clear waters just before sunset. The sea anemones and fish were rainbow in colors, the beach had not a single piece of trash in it, the staff at the small, intimate resort went above and beyond. Nadia and staff are truly the heart of the resort. She pre-booked us a taxi the night before our departure upon learning we had an early flight. That being said, make sure you book an afternoon flight when you leave so that you can enjoy the island just a little longer. You won't want to leave! You will NOT have to worry about sleeping in the heat as there is a very powerful celing fan right above the bed, which my high maintenance partner (Tauruses...) gave the stamp of approval to. There is also a mosquito net and they use smoke coils under the tables at dinner so you won't have to worry about getting bites. As for night life the resort typically closes down after dinner as there are simply too many mosquitos out, so make sure you bring some for of entertainment. There is wifi so I brought my laptop and even finished writing an article for work while enjoying an iced coffee made by the lovely and stupendous staff. I was very proud to be of Malaysian descent after visiting Kapas. Like yes, this is my country and it is BEAUTIFUL and the people here are amazing and the conservation of nature is so nice to see. The fact that is about 2 hours of transit from KL made it so perfect. Nadia sends over detailed instructions on how to get here and it is truly a breeze. I can't recommend this place enough. I feel so healed after swimming in the ocean for days in a row. I will be coming back. Thank you so much for a life changing experience.

Outstanding. I’ve travelled the world seeking a chill cool beach front pad. This is it. Oh and the food, oh the food. Every dish prepared with love by Nadia our host and passionate foodie.

We had the most lovely stay here. Nick and Nadia made us welcome from the start. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. There's something about this place that seemed to attract really nice people. We all chatted over meals, and every mealtime was like a social event. The food is just superb, the best we have had in Asia ever. The location on Kapas means you can explore other beaches where there is great snorkelling (snorkels provided and good), and other places to eat if you want......but we didn't! We wished we could have stayed longer, but the rooms are busy, so book ahead. We stayed for 4 nights, we could have stayed forever.
