We were here for 1-night stay, wish we could stay for longer! Everything is so perfect!!!
I love the design here, very modern and cosy. And the view looking out from the room and lobby is amazing. Words cannot describe how incredible it is while you enjoying the view in the bathtub. And the staff are friendly and lovely. Also, the food is great too. We enjoyed the most delicious dinner here, with the spectacular view looking out from the lobby.
And we go hiking just behind the hill of the lodge. Or you could rent a hike here. At night they have night sky tour. Even the weather is not good, you can watch movies in the movie room, or just borrow a book here. Lots of activities they could provide and recommend you.
We enjoyed an incredible stay here. And this is the way I always dream of New Zealand. Would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy and immerse into the amazing view of New Zealand.

A peaceful break away. The handwritten note on arrival was a special touch. The staff are very friendly, the meals are outstanding, the views are incredible. Bed and pillows super comfy.

Just brilliant! Lakestone Lodge is exactly half way between Queenstown & Christchurch and the perfect rest stop. We stayed for one night only but will definitely be coming back & staying longer. As soon as we arrived we jumped on the complimentary bikes and went for a beautiful hour long bike ride around part of the lake which is just stunning. Followed the ride by a soak in the hot tub & then finished off a perfect afternoon with a 3 course dinner which was truthfully the nicest meal we had during our stay in New Zealand. The staff were extremely polite & knowledgeable, the amenities were outstanding, oh & the room was extremely comfortable with views looking over the lake. Thankyou Lakestone Lodge, we really did love our short stay with you.
