Great stay and wonderful host. Spacious and comfortable family room and private beach access. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. The owner can’t do enough for you and is wonderful. Great location, nice and quiet but a 10 min walk (or very short tuk tuk ride) into the centre of town. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

I had a wonderful 10 day stay at Casa Vito with family this summer. The hotel felt safe and serene. You could walk out of your front door to the ocean. Even though we were there during rainy season, we had beautiful weather the majority of the visit so we spent the majority of time snorkeling at the hotel or hiking nearby. There was a path behind the hotel that lead to beaches, shopping, and restaurants nearby. We ate breakfast at the property each day right outside of our rooms, made by Esteban. He was very helpful and was able to accommodate different diet needs of the family. We played card games in the evening on the deck and played tennis on the court set up on the beach a few times throughout the visit. The owner gave some awesome recommendations on restaurants and supported us with setting up excursions. The hotel rooms were clean and had any amenity I needed. I definitely enjoyed the air conditioned room at the end of the day! Overall a wonderful visit! I look forward to booking here again

The pictures and the services expressed by the hotel are perfectly accurate. It is an amazing place. Small hotel with big services!! Very clean. Great location....we could walk to everything. Great breakfast provided. Owner Vito and the manager gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beach type activities. Hotel is right on the beach. Great snorkeling.......Can't wait to return next year!!

Let me just start by saying WOW! Hotel Casa Vito is hands down the best place you can stay when visiting Puerto Viejo, Limon or Costa Rica in general! Whether you’re visiting solo, as a couple, or an entire family, Hotel casa Vito can accommodate you. The wonderful owner Vito and his staff member Estevan are Incredibly helpful and will answer questions you may have about what to do in Puerto Viejo and beyond. If you’re lucky enough to have a meal cooked by Estevan do not say no. If you’re spanish speaking and need local expert help, these guys rock! You’ll be a short walk or taxi ride away from everything your heart desires! The beach is a few steps from your room just past the volleyball court. Coffee, amazing food, and breath taking hikes are all within walking distance as well. The rooms are very clean and comfortable (A/C, towels, warm shower, fridge, microwave, tv, closet). There is a kitchen on site that has breakfast and coffee and may even be made available if requested. There are relaxing common areas with plenty of seating if you enjoy your coffee with the sound of the ocean waves crashing. I spent over a week here with my family and we were never once unimpressed with Costa Rica’s beauty. You’ll sleep comfortably every night after your days in puerto no matter how they’re spent.. whether its zip lining, kayaking, wildlife viewing, snorkeling, boating, hiking, eating, or relaxing.

Stayed at Hotel Casa Vito for 8 days in late August ‘22. I LOVED this hotel. The room is very spacious even after fitting a comfortable king sized bed, a bunk bed, dresser, closet, small square table, and futon. The AC works really good. There is a shower, toilet, and sink with running water, and a small fridge. Right outside the room, there is a walkway with a hammock and a volley ball court. I could see the ocean waves hitting the shore from my window. It only takes a minute to walk there! We were able to snorkel and see so many beautiful fish and coral. There is even a faucet to wash off the sand from your feet and an outdoor shower to rinse off. Esteban (one of the workers) always kept freshly brewed coffee available and cooked us breakfast every morning. He spoke mostly Spanish but was very eager to help and make sure our needs were met. Excellent service! The owner, Vito is a great host. He was able to give suggestions on where to eat and where to explore during our trip. He even escorted us to a few destinations like this great waterfall with a swimming hole and a few viewpoints that you need to know the path to get there. He was always available when needed and is very nice. I recommend Hotel Casa Vito for a place to stay during your next visit here! Don’t be surprised if you see sloths or monkeys in the trees! :)

We kwamen aan en werden warm onthaald door het personeel. Ze gaven ons de ruimte om eerst even te acclimatiseren, op te frissen en te douchen voordat we moesten inchecken en het reilen en zeilen binnen de accommodatie uitgelegd kregen. Het voelde direct als een warm bad waarin we terechtkwamen. De klantgerichte/servicegerichte instelling was gedurende ons verblijf constant aanwezig. De kamer voldeed aan onze verwachtingen (airco, goede bedden en een ruime badkamer), was netjes en overigens erg mooi door de opvallende muurschilderingen. Ontbijt was ook meer dan top; veel, lekker en met een mooi uitzicht op het natuurrijke groen! Was het geld zeker waard. Ook een lekker privéstrandje aanwezig, groot genoeg om op te liggen en op steenworp afstand van het complex. Al met al een aanrader deze accommodatie!
