One of the best apartments/ hotels we have stayed at a great location. Small supermarket close to apartments packed full of everything ! Staff brilliant, felt like a family run place, facilities great and faultless. In general apartment was great ( we had deluxe room on top floor) well equipped and clean, lovely sea views, towels / linen clean and changed regularly, pool lovely and plenty of sun beds available each day ( for February) bar/ restaurant very good. Staff lovely and helpful. Kept clean & tidy. Food fresh and tasty. Maybe a better evening menu would be good or offer takeaway for the residents. On regular bus route to travel out of the area. Walking distance to town centre and harbour area. Lots of bar’s restaurants too. Plenty of taxis to get you back safely. Steak house opposite is excellent and make fantastic Barraquito…

Second visit to the Aparthotel Maracaibo as we really enjoyed our first stay so much last October. All staff are really friendly and helpful. Especially Valentino, Monica and Lisette on reception. Special mention to Lori at the bar who did a fine job. Rooms are lovely and cleaned every day beds made and towels change if required. Everything you need for self catering holiday. Spa supermarket 2 minutes walk over the road for supplies. Worth the room upgrade to top floors as view is amazing. Sunshine first thing in morning which is fabulous. Beach front short walk via private gate at back of hotel. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely aparthotel, nice staff, cleaning six times per week, plenty of fresh towels. Nice little bar near pool. Near bus stop and also near small bus station. Very central, not up the hill. Supermarket very close near main entrance, but lots of supermarkets everywhere. Nice walk to Amadores along the coast. Highly recommend aparthotel

We were delighted when arriving, the reception very welcoming and organised. Our room very clean and spacious and the balcony big enough and a great view. Bar areas great, prices very reasonable and staff friendly. Cooked breakfast very good and the Sunday bar b q a must. Other food on the menu acceptable but not very special. Pool area good, plenty of beds and just a short pleasant walk to the beach. Will return and look forward to it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maracaibo! Well maintained, clean and spacious apartments with amazing ocean view from the balcony. Reception staff were really helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed Sunday BBQ at the bar, thanks to the Chef and staff! Highly recommend this aparthotel due to great location, excellent facilities, heated swimming pool and relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to be back next year! Thank you all!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Outstanding service. Rooms were immaculately clean, facilities were excellent, pool area was stunning. Food was delicious had a lovely bbq. The staff went above and beyond to help in anyway possible, this including finding out bus times, finding opening times to places and also even taking post cards to be posted (in her own time after finishing work) so I want to say a massive thankyou to Lisette who works on reception also the other two receptionists Chantal and moniwa. A big shout out to Scouse Stacey who works on the bar, poured us a lovely beer with ice cold glasses that she keeps in the freezer (it’s the little touches) also big thankyou to all the house keeping team for keeping the room spotless. This hotel should definitely be a 5 star and we will 100% be returning. Thankyou again!

Loved it! Arrived late, was greeted by the most lovely woman Valencia she is so friendly and helpful. Went to our room and noticed some rooms on the bottom floor with their own pool. Went and asked if we could upgrade which we did the next day. Was worth every penny very modern and new, huge bed, everything you need in the apartment. It was my birthday while I was there and the hotel left me a bottle of wine. Room cleaned every day. Hotel is 5 mins walk down to the main shopping centre. Will definitely be back we loved it so much. Xx
