Just back from our 3rd visit it to Marina Bayview, we love it. The hotel is so relaxing, the pool area and bar are a great place to just chill out if you dont want to head to the beach. We found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming, the rooms (we were on the ground floor across from the pool) are clean and spacious. We didnt have breakfast but enjoyed a few beers and cocktails and a couple of lunches. If you want a relaxing hotel then this is it, but its also an ideal spot if you want to visit the comnercial centre and bars roundabout, yes there are steps but its worth the climb, but if you would rather not you can always jump in a taxi for about 6 euros. We can wait to visit again!!

Our 4th Holiday to Marina Bay View and also booked for September for 2 Weeks If you are looking for a relaxing Holiday Marina Bay View is definitely the place to be it’s Absolutely Outstanding and they never fail to impress Outstanding Customer Service and a Brilliant Dedicated Team Always Happy and Smiling and Polite Hospitality is Fantastic and they always make you feel Special Exceptionally Clean Rooms with Amazing views of the Harbour Pool are so quiet and Stunningly Beautiful NAIHO on reception is Amazing always Smiling and has an Amazing Personality so so Helpful and always there to help nothing is a problem He’s Simply The Best !!!

MBV staff are amazing, the pool is immaculate and studio apartments clean. Bar food pricey but tasty. If you love lying in the sun this is absolutely the hotel for you because there is no shade around the pool. There are sun shades but they offer no shade as the shadow hits a few paces behind the beds and there was only one spot where you could reliably have shade throughout the day. Guests were reserving sunbeds and some not returning until 10/11am and the hotel did not enforce their own ‘do not reserve sunbeds rule’ So if you tan up nice and wanna boil like a lobster MBV is a fantastic hotel. Conveniently located, 10 min walk down 150 steps, through the tunnel to port and beach. Restaurants a plenty. Hands down best two meals we had were at Costa Grill Mar (port) and Happy Vally (shopping centre). Adult only hotel, was nice a quiet. You can also use amenities at sister hotel opposite that has an infinity pool and lots of families. Great to watch to watch the sunset from.

This was our second stay at the Marina Bayview Hotel and it lived up to our expectations. The hotel is quiet, clean and well located above Puerto Base. Some different levels so be prepared for stairs and climbs. Our room was in the B sector Select room. The only minus was the poorly organised check in. We had to wait 2,5 h for our room at the pool bar. I would recommend the hotel to couples who enjoy a quiet holiday in GC Puerto Rico.

Average hotel an stay... Breakfast was cold again this year, not sure why they can't keep food hot? Sunbeds are reserved despite being asked not too. Not shown to room or offered help with case Ridiculous shaped sunbeds in balcony impossible to use Will not return as they cannot get the basics right

Stayed for a week in February 25. Generally the facilities and the hotel were pretty good. The steps etc are manageable but definitely stay clear of Puerto Rico if you don’t like hills. Stayed with friends in rooms D102/D103. Duplex style apartments with very steep steps to the bedroom and bathroom. Not as advertised or informed of this when booking. A real challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Also advertised as having a sea view…They do not! From the patio you have a lovely view of the rear wall of the villa in front of you! I’d say the rest of the apartments have a view so if booking I’d suggest you specifically request not to be in D102 or D103. We asked to be moved to an apartment with a view as booked but told no rooms available. Very disappointing as I’d specifically booked the hotel as EasyJet and hotel websites indicated all rooms have a sea view. Won’t be back.

We had a great holiday but was surprised how small the select apartment was so recommend booking deluxe as duplex as we travelled with our 17YO son. That said B100-B106 have direct pool access (B102 or B103 favourites) We stayed up on 4th floor level with reception and used the lift but lovely marina view from balcony. I wouldn’t pay the €15 or €18 per day for breakfast but a deal with Jet2 made it worth doing. Omelettes are made to order just ask when you give your room number. Quiet complex with nice background music and nice pool area with comfy sunloungers. Didn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve them which was nice. We did visit Marina Suites to use the infinity pool which was lovely but made me appreciate the quietness of Bayview being adult only ! Used taxis a lot and only €6 back from PR that drops you at the door and avoids the stairs of doom ! Would be nice if you wiped the cushion for early morning taxis as all wet and dirty each morning as hubby and son out early for golf. Found the nearby Olas centre scruffy but had a supermarket which was handy for essentials. A very clean and well kept complex and as long as you are aware of the stairs then book it as you won’t be disappointed ☺️

This experience is absolutely amazing. The apartment is perfect & very clever with the space which it is devised for , kitchenette, bathroom, lounge etc… some may read small but as I say , clever & very substantial . The Breakfast is 5 star & everything is so clean the pool was cleaned at 6 am perfectly, I know that sounds a bit jobs worth but I’m an early riser . Basically we couldn’t wish for more & the staff here go way past beyond . I have travelled so when you realise a goodie I just like to say so .

Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. Staff you could not fault. One little matter of sunbeds with towels on them and nobody on them till hours later. Even if a sign up it’s not monitored. Deluxe area also beds took by none deluxe users and again not monitored. But hotel is beautiful.
