There is no vegetarian or vegan options. I wish to have better restaurants since there is nothing nearby. Rooms are okay. I think they have some issues with hot water, it is just warm.

The beach view is definitely amazing that was the only reason I think why Microtel excel from different hotel in palawan. The facilities is very old, rooms are dark, the aircon is very loud and noisy same with the exhaust fan in the comfort room which is very disturbing. I hope management will take a look in the renovation of the property, the view and excellent and having a good facilities will complement it.
Also, the hotel concessionaire is really not good, menus for breakfast is only limited and yet not all are available, only few menus and choices. "CANTINA" Please improve your services is too bad.

**Review of Microtel Hotel**
We recently stayed at Microtel Hotel, booking two rooms, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
The rooms were outdated, with dim lighting that made it hard to see. The shower controls were rusted, and even the tissue holders showed significant wear. We were surprised to find that there’s no in-house restaurant, and the breakfast offered was not worth the price.
Despite having a small number of guests, the breakfast options were limited to eggs, sausage, tocino, bread, rice, fruit slices, coffee, and juice. It took a long time for the staff to refill these items, and they weren’t even heated properly. To add to our frustration, my nephew, who is in grade 5, was charged as an adult because they don’t have a child rate.
The towels were also outdated, which contributed to the overall feeling of neglect in terms of maintenance.
On a positive note, the staff were welcoming and friendly, which was appreciated. The beach in front of the resort was beautiful, but it wasn't enough to make up for the lack of proper amenities and upkeep.
Overall, we left feeling that Microtel Hotel needs significant improvements to meet basic hospitality standards.

Hotel was awesome! It’s right by the sea, and our room had a fantastic ocean view.
The pool was great, perfect for a swim or just chilling out in the sun. It's well-kept and a nice spot to relax.
We loved the on-site resto/cafe. I had an americano and it was on par. It was a great place to start the day with its super cozy and welcoming vibe.
For fun, they have a dart board and a Pinoy pool table. We had a blast playing both in the mornings with my family.
Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa was an amazing experience with its great location, awesome amenities, and fun activities. Highly recommend it for a laid-back seaside getaway!

The receptionist lady was amazing, kind and helpfulShe helped us get tours,taxi and was able to answer all our questions. She was just great...
But the reception guy who helped us get a cab to the airport was dishonest, he increased the taxi fare to the airport and had the audacity to call the cab driver to tell him he overcharged us so he has to give him his share whilst we in the cab to the airport. Overall the hotel look old, the AC was noisy even the thing in the bathroom. We booked this because of beach access but the beach is not even for swimming.

The Hotel is pretty old, so is the bathroom. It smells like mould as soon as you enter the room! Also there was mould in my bathroom and hair, which wasnt mine already at check-in. Staff is not flexible at all. I payed for several breakfasts that I didnt have. Yet there was no way of switching it up to dinner. I asked for a packed breakfast. The lady at reception first said its also not available. When I mentioned a review she said they can provide a packed breakfast. She would notify me later what is available for breakfast. Yet I was never notified and they gave me something with tuna, which I dont eat. Also the staff prefers to hang out together, laugh and watch stuff on their phones instead helping their customers. I was woken up by three staff member talking loudly in front of my room. At breakfast there is not really a huge variety to be found and it is rather simple. The outside area is nice but still differs a lot from the pictures online. Overall absolutely overpriced and not worth the money! Can not recommend staying there.

This hotel is a little far from airport and amenities but is very secluded and quiet.
Staff were excellent and accommodating and helped out at all of our requests.
Restaurant is good with alot of choice but free breakfast needs improvement.
Rooms are comfortable but aircon is a bit noisy and beds were fine.
The beach was ok but very shallow...at this price point for this hotel it is recommended.
