Overo Lodge & Selva

Very nice lodge, with friendly stuff and interesting activities! Bungalows are very well equipped and the breakfast was very good! It’s a clean and quiet place and has also a good restaurant for dinner! We enjoyed our time here and recommend the hotel!

We stayed here for 3 nights on our trip to see the falls. I only gave the resort a 4 because the word villa is not really how I would view the rooms. Ours was more of an updated cottage, which was nice, but not a villa in my mind. I did see some other villas that were nicer than ours, so maybe others are better. I also thought we would be further off the road, but you are just a few meters from the main road. The rooms are quiet so you do not hear the traffic. The Staff is amazing and go out of their way to make sure you are having a nice time. Special shout out to Ian, for all of his expertise. There are free bikes to use ( we rode into town 1 day- mostly on the highway)2 pools that are lovely and heated. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the afternoon sweet treats were amazing. You have a nespresso machine in you room, full size fridge, stove, and microwave. There was a loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom was small and could use a make over. The bed is comfortable and the A/c cools off the whole place. You can get snacks and small meals up until 7 pm which at that point your only option is the restaurant on site. Limited and expensive, but good. We enjoyed sitting by the pool with a bottle of wine before our meal. The restaurant staff were very professional and did a great job. After seeing all the big box hotels along the road I Know we were at the best place.

Absolutely lovely lodge! We wanted something small and intimate and found a lovely spot at Overo! The bed was comfy and we had plenty of room! Loved the special mate and cooking experience by the fire as well! Carina and Patricia were wonderful! Carina helped arrange our transportation, gave us recommendations and was so warm and pleasant. I cannot recommend more highly!

This is a really special place. It’s a small lodge made up of individual cabanas in a jungle setting not far from Iguazú Falls. The actual cabins are lovely — a little rustic, but in a very comfortable and aesthetic way. The thing that makes it so special though is the staff and service. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and I don’t know if I’ve ever been in a hotel with such a genuine sense of hospitality. We were so well cared for — a delicious breakfast delivered to the door every morning, evening bonfires, interesting presentations about local culture. Staff are so welcoming and go above and beyond to help with anything needed. Highly recommend.

Desde que ingresas al lodge se siente la tranquilidad y armonia del lugar. Al llegar te reciben los chicos de la recepcion, Nancy con su amabilidad nos explico todo sobre Overo y actividades para hacer.. el desayuno que se da en cada villa. Todos los productos del desayuno son de primera calidad. Recomiendo mucho el chipa! Al igual que todo lo que esta dentro de las Villas. Vajilla, muebles, toallas y sabanas. En el baño los productos L´occitane tambien marcan una gran diferencia. Pudimos disfrutar las bicicletas para pasear por los alrededores La pileta esta siempre impecable. El terreno del hotel tiene un camino de 1000m y pudimos ver varios animales, flores y mariposas. El wifi para lo que es Iguazu es muy bueno y alcanza en todos los sectores que lo utilizamos. Fue una estadia inolvidable

Escapade dans un cadre magnifique, le personnel est au petit soin. Nous avons été accueilli par Nancy, elle a été de bon conseils. Le logement est en bien entretenu et les prestations (petit déjeuner) sont de très bonnes qualités. Nous prenions le taxi pour les déplacements mais un arrêt de bus se trouve également à proximité.
