Please please avoid this hotel. Arrived on the 30th December booked in for 2 weeks the worst experience I’ve ever had. Was very traumatised and still am. My room was severely infested with ants and cockroaches the staff were no help whatsoever. The staff are very very rude and very very aggressive. The room was very dirty stains on the sheets, walls, tiles, everywhere. Cleaners did not clean the whole week I was there just changed towels no clean sheets I spoke to staff and reps for a full week with no help had to leave the hotel after 1 week as was not safe to stay regarding the infestation health reasons and staff being very aggressive towards me had to leave for my own safety and family’s safety. Worst hotel I’ve ever experienced place should be shut down. How this can be acceptable for anyone to stay in and receive so much abuse is beyond me. Not acceptable at all!!! I will be claiming compensation

We arrived as a group of 9 to this hotel on the 28th Dec - 4th January. Having spent £1300 each for the week self catering here we expected at least clean and decent accommodation. Room: Superior room but there was nothing superior about it. Dirty. Filthy. Disgusting. When we arrived there were hairs all over the floor along with stains including around the toilet. Dirt and mould all over and a stain on the sofa bed. We got the cleaners in straight away and when they left we checked again and there was still hairs all over. The rooms are awful. The bed creaked horrendously with every moment and the sofa bed was freezing as all you were given was a sheet and little blanket. Onto the cleaners - never once seen in 7 days they came in once to change towels and ‘make the bed’ which was just pulling the sheet back over. We repeatedly had to go to reception to ask for new towels. Reception staff / the most disgusting rude staff I have ever come across in my life no smile or even a hello and just look like they can’t be bothered to be there or to help the guests - horrendous especially the miserable man. Another guest was here complaining the same time and we seen her videos and photos of the state of her room which was covered in cockroaches and ants and the hotel did not move her or help her at all and she was so upset. Disgusting behaviour when people have paid to come and have a nice relaxing holiday! I could go on and on about the negatives but tbh I just want to forget I ever stayed at this awful hotel. The only positive was the location. Would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

After booking a weeks stay in a superior one bedroom apartment with Jet2 we were dismayed to be given the key to a ground floor room beside the pool bar with no view, broken patio door and generally in a poor state. After a return visit to reception Aurelia was extremely helpful and manège to get us a room in another block on the third floor with superb views. This was a substantial improvement with a well equipped kitchen area nice balcony and bedroom at the rear overlooking the biosphere roundabout. Pros - god location between the strip and Old Town. Good pool area with reasonably priced pool bar. Fantastic views out to sea and the Faroese hotel. Garden areas well maintained. Cons - the rooms need some serious attention with chipped tiles . Cleaners - not sure when they should attend but it was intermittent. Road noise from about 6 am . This hotel has so much potential but does need some money investing on the rooms and Jet2 need to ensure their customers receive the room quality that was booked.

Very disappointed overall with this accommodation and will never return or recommend. Checkin very slow and witnessed one day a member of staff leaving halfway through checking in guests whilst the next member of staff was still parking her car. Room was filthy - hairs on floor, urine on floor behind toilet, sheet on bed in living area was sticky (looked like a sweet had been stuck to it). Bed in living area not suitable for an adult - squeaked every time moved and only sheet and thin blanket provided. Very dated rooms - floor tiles cracked, bathroom tiles filled in numerous places where previous items had been fixed to walls, mouldy grout. Towels only changed three times in a week (once after complaining, told they would only be changed if left on floor which they were but still not changed), bedding never changed at all. Staff on reception not friendly or welcoming at all - one guest was complaining about insects in her room (saw videos of this and was awful) the receptionist was rude and laughing at her saying it wasn't their fault - the woman was in tears. We had friends staying in the block facing the big pool and you would have thought they were staying in totally different accommodation to ours as their room has obviously been updated and was amazing. Very disappointed with this accommodation overall and logged this with Jet2 rep in resort and will be making formal complaint.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom superior apartment and the only thing I could fault was there was no brush for the dust pan and the ceiling fan was too noisy to keep on during the night. Rooms were clean and spacious with Comfy, firm beds. Aircon in the lounge, not the bedroom. We didn't find this an issue but possibly could be in the height of summer. Kitchen had a hob, microwave/oven fridge freezer and enough utensils to cook with. The views from our balcony were amazing day and night with a partial sea veiw. Cleaners came all but one day during our 7 night stay. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful! 2 pools, one is cold! Other is heated and plenty of sunbeds pool snack bar open daily and very reasonably priced. There is a gate in the middle of the complex at the back, make sure you find it. It saves so much walking! Puerto del carmen is an amazing and beautiful place to visit but it's hilly! The complex itself has quite a few steps. The hotel is literally in a PERFECT location. Behind the hotel is the amazing shopping centre. 5 minute walk to the right is the harbour and 2 minutes to the left is the main 6K strip with the beach an extra few minutes walk. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in peurto del carmen.

Me and my family stayed for 7 nights, the overall experience was really good. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned when we asked and we have a really nice location next to the pool. The problems we faced were the WiFi in the room and around the immediate area are not great, meaning you rely on your own internet. The tv in the apartment only had 5 channels which were all in Spanish, meaning if you wanted to stay in one night you were stuck for something to do and couldn’t watch tv, you can’t even connect your phone up to watch movies, we also were surprised that on the listing on jet2 it said the rooms had air con but they didn’t, only the front room had air con and it wasn’t powerful enough to keep two bedrooms cool. It’s a shame there isn’t an on site restaurant even though the jet2 listing says there is, it’s just a little pool bar and everytime we went the poor lady behind the counter was so overworked, potentially by other people who were led to believe there was an onsite restaurant. These are all things that can easily be resolved to make my rating from an 8 to a 10.
