TRH Taoro Garden - Only Adults

Hotel was spotless, staff were all wonderful. The pool area was kept clean at all times with a lifeguard present from 10am to 6pm. Food was good, Mexican night was the best! Good selection of drinks and cocktails for the all inclusive and the bar staff are all super polite and friendly. More of a cocktail bar feel to the evening. We arrived late and the restaurant had closed but the hotel had left out a cold salad for us. Beautiful view from our balcony with the sea to our left and mountains to our right. Negatives… a very long drive from the airport, would not recommend getting the coach as with multiple stops it is over two hours, nearer three on return day as it is the furthest hotel so first pick up and the driver had to go into several hotels as passengers were not outside their hotel waiting for the coach. Evening entertainment is indoors and very limited, one night a man on a keyboard, next night a different man with a saxophone and so on. Overall would probably not return purely based on the distance from the airport and the evening entertainment.

The hotel looked after my wife and I very well for our week long stay. Each day we were greeted with warm smiles, endless hospitality and continuous understanding of any question we asked. From travel options within puerto de la cruz and where to visit, to dietary requirements with our food. Thank you TRH Taoro Gardens Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel is situated very close to the wonderful Tauro Garden. Our room had an amazing view overlooking Puerto de la Cruz, the room was very clean and spacious for 2 people. The only thing I would criticize about the room would be the bathroom which needs updating. The staff are the best we have ever experienced. They were very attentive, polite and always happy to help or serve us. The food was very good both breakfast or dinner all of which was in Buffet form and lots to choose from. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning to the same hotel next year.

This hotel was perfect for us! a young couple looking for a nice clean hotel with a bit of atmosphere, but didn’t want to go down south. We did the half board option. All the staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating: the restaurant, bar, reception, the maid service is FAB! and a special shoutout to the lady who runs the poolside bingo (you are hilarious we loved you). The food suited us really well. Breakfast was always a huge success with literally everything you could think of (pastries, cooked breakfast, cereal, fruits, live cooking, muffins, toast, juice, coffee, churros, nutella, honeycomb!!). Dinner was always nice too, and great to come back to if you are out all day. Potentially a struggle if you were a vegetarian as it is heavily meat/fished based, but some highlights were definitely the live cooked entrecôte, fish soup, canadian soup, clam pasta. For the price it is extremely worth it. The bar prices are super affordable, so if you are half board like us, it’s definitely worth sitting in the bar for a few drinks - however the chairs on the balcony go extremely quickly. The pool is lovely, very big and lots of fun. No major rush for sunbeds, however the sunniest spots do get “reserved” early, but you will always find a space. The rooms are super clean, and lovely balcony’s too. Definitely recommend asking for the mattress topper if you are a couple looking for a king sized bed rather than two singles - it was so unbelievably comfortable. We literally asked before we went out and it was done by the time we got back! The area was really lovely, the view was so nice. Steps are definitely a bit of a workout, but as a younger couple it was easily accessible, we even carried some shopping up. It’s also super safe area, we went on a night out, returning at around 2am and had absolutely no worries. Boyfriend says the gym equipment might potentially need updating/servicing but honestly was very standard and acceptable. Also, maybe a bit too many additional fees if i’m being really picky - deposits for beach towels, safe, water, laundry service all an extra cost. Overall would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to have a super stress free and beautiful holiday! Personally i don’t tend to return to the same place twice, but if i ever found myself in tenerife again, i would even consider staying anywhere else! thank you so much.

The TRH is a lovely hotel, one of the best we have been to in Europe. However, I would like to make the following comments. It would be good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. There are no English speaking TV channels. We couldn’t even get BBC news as there was no signal. There should be more regular buses coming to the hotel to go to the city. The current services is not enough. The fruit offered in the buffet is not enough. The fruit during my stay was over ripe and not very tasty. The bananas and oranges were very ripe and not the best. There needs to be more choice of fruit too. On a positive note, there are so many excellent things about the hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms and building is so clean and tidy. The pool area is lovely. The bar is very well priced. The food at the buffet is excellent. The choice of food at the snack bar is excellent.

This was the first holiday my daughter and I had been on for years, and everything about our stay was fantastic! The welcoming and friendly staff, the gorgeous gardens, the clean room, the varied and delicious food and drink options and the relaxing atmosphere of the whole place made it such a rewarding stay! We would definitely come again and haven’t stopped raving about it to friends and family!!
