Hotel très agréable. Le personnel très aimable. Chambre très spacieuse moderne et ultra propre

This hotel is NOT as it appears! Self catering means no kitchen facilities! (apparently) If no pool view - there is a Cemetery instead! Pool has no shallow end! Door to room - old/dated/filthy- total insecurity Bathroom window has slats Cockroaches/flies in bed! Dark external passageways/scary -no lights! The adjoining building is not fit for purpose!

I had a room overviewing the pool and sun from about 1500. Nice room with a fan and a refrigerator. Pool with saltwater and plenty of sunbeds. Good cleaning every day. Friendly and serviceminded personell. Food is nice with a bit of taste for everyone.

® Breakfast was in good shape. All the hotel's settings are in order and very quiet throughout. @ Bed was ruined; We were put on the ground floor or more like being in the basement patio covered with a high wall and an evil bed. The facilities in the room were not checked for or checked in, but the room was clean.

Our rom was big and comfortable, but the door was broken - couldn't be closed :) even the staff came to repair it. Telephone on the room doesn't work - I informed in reception but this time staff didn't come to fix it. TV has no programe to see in english - even music, but this was not a problem on holidays.. ;) Bathroom veeeery old, but also big. View was nice - at the garden, swimming pool exceelent. Close to everywhere :) Breakfast standard, but ok. The worst thing was too noisy mornigns. Every day at 6 o'clock garbage truck came for rabish and... bottles... Terrible voice in the every early mornings. Hotel is rather old but for that price is ok.

We booked on a bed and breakfast basis so expected at least the basic of facilities (kettle, fridge, cups) but nothing, there weren't even two seats to sit in the apartment. The breakfast, after reading some of these reviews was very disappointing, not much choice and some things looked very off putting. The rooms are cleaned most days and the staff mostly seem friendly. Our only entrance was sliding patio doors which had a gap all the way around so you hear everything. We've had better facilities on a camping holiday. Would have been gutted if this was our main family holiday.

This is a really good hotel. The breakfast is fantastic, and we took evening meals as well, when we realised what a bargain they were. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a short walk from the town, an easy flat-ish walk, and near to a lot of interesting places. A lot of Germans choose to stay in this hotel for the winter months, which we saw as a good sign - they expect a lot from holidays. We found them very pleasant and friendly.

Stayed here for 5 nights in a studio, it had a huge comfy bed, good bathroom, plenty of storage and a small kitchen with table and 2 chairs. Also a balcony with views of mountains, sea and cemetery. The studio had a fridge, microwave, fridge which was enough to enable us to prepare our breakfast before heading out. It’s in a great location in the old town, minutes from loads of great restaurants and bars, a beach and a slightly further walk to the town with more restaurants and shops. Nice swimming pool area always got a couple of beds, reception staff polite too. Only negative comment the windows could do with better coverage as light cones through in the morning. We had a car and we’re very lucky to find parking spaces each day in nearby streets but there is a large car park a couple of minutes away. We were on the 4th floor and had sun and views but I did notice those on lower floors looked out at a wall.

Just back from a week long holiday to Tenerife. Stayed at this hotel. It was ok, bog standard. Fine if you’re on a tight budget but not for special holiday that you’ve been looking forward to. No air con in the hotel was not good. We asked for a fan at reception and in all fairness staff did provide this. Staff are pleasant. Food was mediocre at best…breakfast was included but we ended up going elsewhere on the last day for breakfast as it was so unappealing. Location is quite central for bars and restaurants. Puerto de la Cruz in general is far from all popular attractions so if you don’t mind spend hours each day on a bus, avoid. Would be fine if you just want to go somewhere and chill/sunbathe all week.
