I am currently staying at this hotel and while it is very clean, and the food selection good, the staff are terribly rude. They will only speak in Spanish, and have issue with the fact that myself and partner have separate rooms, and therefore separate drinks orders for ourselves and our respective children. When I complained to the hotel receptionist, I was asked to return the next morning to speak with the PR team, who were then not available to discuss. The restaurant team also complained when we arrived for dinner at 2100, and reluctantly allowed us to sit down, all the while complaining in Spanish to one another. For clarity, dinner time finishes at 2200. My daughter has unfortunately come down with food poisoning, and when we asked about a doctor, there was zero concern shown and we were told to call 112. Luckily we found a fantastic GP who attended within 30 minutes and who was able to tell us which pharmacy was open 24 hours so we could get a prescription filled. To top it all off, there were moth larvae in my bed, which have bitten me all over. The team simply gave us new bed linen and left us to strip and change all bedding ourselves. We were also advised to roll up a towel so that the army of ants outside our door could not make their way into our room. The cleaning staff have done a wonder job in our bedroom each day, and I must give credit where credit is due. Overall though, I’m very disappointed.
