The staff at the property are very nice and kind. They said, I am considered like family being there so make myself at home. They had someone meet me at the airport and escort me on the bus and ferry, then drive me to a tour stop and finally the hotel. The hotel is quaint with a nice pool and I took advantage of their package deal (hotel room and 4 days of tours). They have good starlink internet in the public areas. If in the last room on the end of the building, it can be spotty coverage (perhaps an extender at the far end of the property may help). Like I said, in the other areas it is very good/fast. Comfortable bed and good hot water. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars, etc…

The absolute best shower I have ever had in 20 years visiting Ecuador. HOT WATER!!! GOOD PRESSURE!!! Did I say Hot Water? Absolutely fabulous shower. The ladies that run things are sooooo nice! Friendly. Helped us set up a half day cruise that was perfect and great price. Just what we wanted. The property is very pretty. 2 pools. 1 small 1 large. Teenagers had fun. Breakfast excellent. Fruit fresh from the trees around property. I asked for lemon for my tea. She said one minute and plucked one for me. The juices delish. Fresh eggs. Bread. Homemade wine. Perfect start to the day. The rooms are big. The honeymoon suite had a balcony with hammock. So great. The bed comfy. AC if you want it. Did not need it. Blow-dryer in bathroom. Nice shampoo conditioner and soap provided. Internet good. Locate 5 minutes from the main drag. Not one complaint at all. Would definitely come back. Pack sweaters. Can get chilly morning and night.

good A/C. Has hair dryer. spacious room. Wifi is weak. The lighting is very dim, and there are bugs in the room. I find better value with other hostel with much cheaper price.

Worst place we have ever stayed. Bedding from the 1970’s; dirty towels; problems getting room serviced; 2 pools but both dirty; lack of property maintenance; not sure if TV worked because remote control not provided; NO HOT WATER 2 days in a row; mediocre breakfast; tea bags appeared to have mould on them; “suite” was just one room and misrepresented as to size-advertised on ******* at about 2x the actual room size; the area is noisy-dogs barking. We asked for a refund for one of the nights to compensate for the lack of hot water and we were told there was hot water and that was their best room and no one else has complained. Not true! Read the past reviews. Anyway if possible AVOID THIS PLACE.

Worst hotel experience ever. This is a 1 Star hotel at best. The place is dirty and lacks basic maintenance. Everything looks worn and not looked after. We stayed 2 nights and had no hot water for showering. The first morning we were told both cold and hot taps needed to be on before hot water would come out, which doesn’t make any sense but we tried it later in the day and of course it didn’t work and neither did it work the next morning. Problems getting room serviced-finally happened around 5 pm; no TV remote; minimal breakfast; tea bags that looked mouldy; dirty towels; 2 pools both dirty; bedding and curtains have not been upgraded since the 70’s; room size misrepresented. Was about 1/2 the size and definitely not a suite. Overall a horrible last couple of nights in Santa Cruz

We only stayed overnight between the afternoon ferry from Isabela and the morning ferry to San Cristobal. It is difficult to rate the hotel as we were not there long. Our room did have a nice balcony with a hammock. The room had a mini fridge. The water in the shower was cool, couldn’t get it to go hot. The grounds of the hotel were nice and has a small pool.

It looks old, not maintained well care, inside the room ceiling is peeling it off, the picture they have to advertise it, are better looks than how its looks now. It was very depressing, disappointing that I had to leave the place almost immediately. I would like my money back due to falls advertising it.

An overall subpar experience that I cant recommend. The cons All the lights were bright white fluorescent, like it was a hospital. The main light is a flood light that has no shade. Even the night lights are bright white. The room in general looks very bleak and minimal. There's one painting of sea lions and that's it. Our TV was broken and the hotel didn't do anything about it. They gave me a story about how they are getting new tvs soon, but only after several days of asking them what was the status via whatsapp. I understand watching TV is not the point when comimg to the Galapagos, but you'd be surprised by the amount of downtime you have. I asked them not to come into our rooms for cleaning service. They decided to come in the second to last day I was staying. It's frustrating when there's no sign I can leave on the door. This place generates a lot of noise. I heard full-on parties from public pools that were across the street. I heard multiple dogs barking at all different hours. When it's windy, everything shakes and bangs across the building, especially the hammock on our back patio. Wifi is pretty bad. I dont hold it against them too much, since internet in general is bad. I will say, in comparison to other spots, this place had the worst wifi. If more than a few people are logged in, becomes unusable. Not every window has blackout curtains. This may be a little thing, but it's pretty annoying to try to take a nap in the afternoon when you can't really block out all the light. The pros Not everything was bad about this place. The "patio" area and pool area looked quite nice and inviting with all the tropical vegetation. The AC works quite well. The best part is having a lip on the edge that I can adjust where the air blows. This can be the difference between sleeping comfortably and being frozen in bed. I like that they give you big commercial size bottles of shampoo and conditioner. While they have they limited breakfast, I like that it's fresh and made in front of you. The beds here, like any other place I've tried in the Galapagos, are pretty hard, but they felt softer than other places. The pillows were actually comfy and supported for my neck.
