Place is original and magical, all handmade and with a great history. A very welcoming chill out space with wooden stairs, terraces ,hammocks, a little pool and a very relaxing vibe. Close to everything and anything you will need. Victor & Aaron will help you with boat tickets, insights, tours, bike rental and anything you need. I felt at home with them. ( Note:Photos are taken during night time which was also magical)

The tree house was amazing! Valentin could not have been more helpful and it was a thoroughly enjoyable adventure staying in such original accommodation in an ideal location. Valentin was incredibly helpful and I highly recommend a visit to such a lovely place.

Our place was cute and conveniently in a central location near the main street. Victor proved to be an invaluable asset, offering assistance in scheduling tours and providing comprehensive insights into various options across the islands. His friendly demeanor added to the enjoyment of our stay. We appreciated the availability of cold water, bananas, and instant coffee throughout our visit, which was a nice touch. However, possibly due to low season, the pool was unfilled, and the bar/coffee shop was never opened. There was also some unusual dust falling from the bamboo ceiling onto the bed, and our key broke leaving our belongings exposed for the final two days of our stay. Despite these issues, our overall experience was positive, thanks to the hospitality of Victor and the comfortable accommodations.

This lodge is welcoming and fanciful in the AMAZING way that Victor built it, more intricate and sculpted than the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse, with innovative staircases, bottle & tilework, portholes and windows, textured walls and beams, wrapping into trees and vegetation. SO IMAGIANITIVE!! Victor was essential in setting up our second leg of our Galapgos adventure after our cruise. He got us over to Isabela and tours there, and he provided warm conversation about life in Puero Ayora. I wish I had more time to get to know him! Just two blocks off the tourist strip, this is a gem, a local landmark that you shouldn't miss. It appears to be still a little quiet after the pandemic, and I hope the kitchen and entertainment deck gets lively soon. Bike rental was great for returning from the tortoise reserve, and other services were available too. Would have loved to have fresh coffee instead of instant in the morning, but waking up in this unique treasure was worth it, and we stayed here again on our return from Isabela.

This place is unique!! A place like this you find only once. Every part of the hotel has its history and gives this lodging its magical touch. Victor is a true artist and a great host. He has build in 30 years this artistic ecolodge. Also he will make you really live Puerto Ayora with his advise were to go and eat away from the touristic places. At the Lonesome George you can relax or chilax, as the kids like to say...the kids will have a blast with the pool table and the cute dog "Mango". While you can relax on the third floor terrace with a nice cup of tea. We had the family room. It was perfect for us.
