Wonderful experience from the gracious welcome at the pier to room comfort to the onsite dining. I was traveling with a group of cruise passengers who'd had a gruelling day of transfers and delays. The Angermeyer staff went above and beyond to ensure our ease and comfort. The property is beyond charming.! Lots of architectural character and beauty everywhere one looks. Loved dining on the edge of the bay where sharks glided alongside the sea wall. Will stay here again on my next visit!

The room was the top floor , amazing welcome , beautiful room the bed is so comfortable the staff were very attentive and we couldn’t of wished for more the breakfast was huge and the setting is beautiful ,easy to get to the main town and we felt very safe they also have a roof top area which could be made into a special place but needs some love the views are stunning

This hotel is lovely and charming. The staff was accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Easy access to town via water taxi, $1 per person each way. The room was spectacular with beautiful views of harbor and the ocean. Highly recommended this hotel!!

Angermeyer was the first of three hotels we stayed at during our trip and set the tone for our trip. Every single staff member was attentive and helpful, every single time we saw them. The rooms were large, clean, and offered a beautiful view. Food was excellent and I really can't say enough about the service. Every person there would greet you with such friendliness and offers to help with anything. When one of our group left her phone on the water taxi, they had it back in her hands in no time. We enjoyed the water taxis to get to the hotel, but be aware that you do have to take them if you want to go to the main shopping and restaurants in town. It never took more than 5 minutes wait, and probably 3 minutes to actually cross the channel. We loved seeing the baby sharks at the Angermeyer dock each night, and there are places to eat at the hotel and nearby (without a water taxi ride) that were very good options.

This hotel is located across the harbor, requiring water taxis to get there and back. This results in a very peaceful atmosphere compared to staying in the center of Puerto Ayora. The staff were all very friendly and the food was good. Since the hotel is not in the center of town, we chose to eat dinner here twice during our stay. The menu was extremely limited but we enjoyed the fish dishes we ordered. Our room had a nice harbor view but was in need of some updating. For example, there was only one available electrical socket in our room and it was located behind the desk. This room was obviously designed in a time when guests didn't bring many electrical devices. One thing we really appreciated was the hotel's laundry service which came in very handy halfway through our Galapagos trip. The service was very efficient and reasonably priced. This is a good place to stay if you're looking for a quieter, peaceful stay away from the town center.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Angermeyer Waterfront but our visit was spoilt by a total lack of water supply to our room on the morning of our departure. We were unable to use any of the toilet or shower within our bathroom prior to leaving to catch the early morning ferry.

A great location on the harbour with beautiful rooms. The rooms were large with great amenities and very clean. We had a great view of the harbour. The food at the hotel was wonderful and fresh - really nice to eat right next to the sea and watch the wildlife. The staff were very friendly. We used the laundry service and received our items back the same day.

If you can't or don't want to spring for Finch Bay, I think Angermeyer is your BEST alternative. The location is perfect...in minutes you can walk to the beach or take a water taxi to town, but its away from the busy part of Santa Cruz. You can see sharks, rays, fish, and other animals swimming as you eat breakfast or dinner. The room is clean and spacious. The service was great. I was very glad we chose Angermeyer!

This is a charming well-maintained hotel in Paradise. Each room is unique and comes with a mini-fridge and a very comfortable bed. The staff keeps the place spotless clean. Eno acted as a friendly helpful guide to aid with restaurant recommendations, how to navigate the water taxi system and other issues every visitor faces. Daniel was our restaurant server for several meals and he was terrific. Our large room was on the second floor and we had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the bay. I’m very happy we picked this place to stay in our very memorable visit to the Galapagos Islands.
