Amareclub le Rose

We had a family and friends reunion in this hotel. Le Rose exceded our expectations : beautiful rooms in sardinian style, exquisite food (compliments to the chefs!), a well maintened hotel with gardens and a pool. Thank you to the kind waiter named Gabriele and to Imma. She was looking out for us on a rainy day at the beach, it was very touching. The chuttle service to the beach was highly appreciated. We paid £1328.40 for a 9 night stay in September 2023. We were given room number 100, inexplicably with an extra single bed in the room. (We won't complain about the extra space!) --- Good: Buffet was convenient for not wasting time and still getting a balanced diet. (We were at a festival and had lots of things to do, so saving time on ordering and paying the bill was helpful!) Lots of vegetables, salad, and fruit on offer (if a little basic at times), and decent enough quality pasta etc. On occasion we'd pay local restaurants for comparable or worse food, so we were actually very happy that the hotel food was available. Power stays on in the rooms when you leave, so you can charge batteries etc. Refrigerator. It worked and didn't make much noise. Staff were largely very helpful, polite, and friendly. The poolside bar was good for a cocktail or two. Sadly no Bloody Mary on offer, though 😅 --- Bad: Insecure luggage storage. Despite claiming they offer luggage storage, it's essentially a room where anyone can walk in and take anything. We did not feel comfortable leaving laptop computers and passports there so ended up taking this stuff to the beach on our last day, which just adds a little extra stress to what should be an enjoyable day. Mosquitoes in room. Open drain in shower felt like a liability, so we used a plastic cup to close it while we weren't showering, but not sure if this really helped. The cleaners would obviously remove it every time anyway leaving it open for much of the day while we were out. We found we couldn't really relax by the pool due to the music - sometimes some cheesy Italian ballads played very loud. Likely a matter of taste (I'm used to enjoying mellow Balearic beats in these situations), but it just feels really bizarre and frankly stressful at times due to overpowering, passionate Italian vocalists. At 2pm, just after lunch service, the entertainers run a 15 minute quiz in Italian that was so loud we struggled to even have a conversation during it. It seemed like fun and the Italian guests were enjoying it, though! Mold on wall underneath air conditioner due to excess moisture dripping from it. It was a very old unit with no remote control. We didn't notice till the last evening that there was liquid pooling on the floor which was a bit disgusting given the mold. Comforter on the bed was clearly not being washed between guest stays. Minor but noticeable stains on it that definitely were not from us. We just tried to not think too much about it. 😅 No "Do Not Disturb" signs - woken up on the first morning by cleaners, twice, and no way to lock the door properly from inside to prevent them entering. Asked reception for a sign but they just didn't have an answer as to why they didn't have them. We ended up writing out our own and putting it up on the door, so that we could sleep in, and have our room made up in the afternoon. This worked, but for the first day we were just very tired. I really do not like writing bad reviews, but this place was, unfortunately, a letdown. During our stay, renovation and expansion works were being carried out, and there were materials left constantly outside the rooms, creating a hazard. There was dust and dirt everywhere. Our room was in a residence like building, it did not look like a hotel, as you were using a private house and you stuck few rooms there. The room itself, I would define it way below essential, and the bathroom was crying for repairs and renovation. The biggest issue, however, was the food. It was buffet style, with no variety and really low quality ingredients. You could see the salads being clearly made with leftovers from days before. Everything, a part from the pool which was nice and clean seemed to be in disarray: there is no lounge, the restaurant toilets are in a scary basement and they looked unclean and in very bad condition. The only pro of our stay was the staff: everyone was nice, approachable and willing to help.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Close to the beach and the centre. Very friendly staff. Incredible menu with good quality products, extremely varied, tasty and delicious. The chef doesn't overdo it with oily substances making the food easy to digest. The food is definitely a plus.

Molto bello e cebtralissimo a San Teodoro. Grande varietà di scelta per tutti i pasti. Purtroppo è sprovvisto di parcheggio e non ci sono molto parcheggi liberi nella zona (i parcheggi lungo la strada sono tutti con disco orario) e la pecca maggiore è stata che avevamo una camera talmente piccola che facevamo fatica a camminare.

Siamo stati ospiti della struttura ad Agosto 2024. Sono più di 10 anni che frequentiamo San Teodoro, fino ad oggi essendo solo io e mia moglie ci affidavamo a b&b, hotel oppure appartamenti quando siamo rimasti oltre i 10 giorni. Adesso con un bambino di 16 mesi abbiamo preferito cercare una struttura all'inclusive e possibilmente vicino al centro per goderci le serate e gli amici del posto abbiamo optato su questa struttura che si trova in pieno centro. Dividerò la recensione a capitoli in quanto ci siamo trovati davvero in situazioni paradossali al limite delle regole dell'ospitalità: PREMESSA Amare travel vive di sponsorizzazioni su Facebook, social e internet in generale, quindi è facile imbattersi in video pubblicità per sponsorizzare le loro strutture. PRENOTAZIONE Nella prima prenotazione di gennaio 2024 abbiamo "firmato" ad un prezzo per poi scoprire a distanza di qualche settimana che la stessa soluzione costava 400€ in meno! Al mio reclamo al loro servizio clienti mi hanno consigliato di annullare la prenotazione e rifarla con lo scotto di perdere le spese di assicurazione pari a circa € 50. Ho fatto presente che questa pratica era scorretta e indice di poca serietà perché non garantisce chi prenota prima anticipando del danaro, ma senza successo. Ho dovuto procedere in quanto la differenza economica era importante. RECENSIONI Dopo la problematica della prenotazione ho proceduto a verificare cosa si diceva in giro di questa struttura e in particolare dell'azienda che la sponsorizza e scopro che ci sono molte recensioni contrastanti con pareri diversi. Così giacchè la struttura NON permette la scelte di camere del tipo standard, superior, junior suite, ecc scrivo una mail e chiedo che in base a quanto ho letto in internet di "pre-assegnarmi" una camera in un buon stato di uso e funzionale. Siamo ad Aprile 2024....quindi immagino hanno tutto il tempo di gestire la segnalazione per evitare che diventi un reclamo al mio arrivo. Nel contempo considerato che la prenotazione risale a 6 mesi prima del mio arrivo chiedo di assegnarmi anche l'ombrellone in prima fila in spiaggia alla cinta.(è inaccettabile che un 4 stelle non permetta di prenotare in anticipo) Mi viene negato. Non soddisfatto telefono la struttura e segnalo queste informazioni alla reception. CHECK IN/CAMERE Purtroppo non è andata così come immaginavo. L'ombrellone è stato riservato, ma la camera nonostante le mie raccomandazioni e nonostante averli informati di ciò al momento del check in ci assegnano una camera con muffa sulle pareti e soffitto e un orrendo odore coperto da un forte profumo di quelli spray, il climatizzatore perde acqua (con rischio di scivolare), la porta del bagno che alla chiusura cadono calcinacci (un bagno dall'aspetto di quelli dell'autogrill) e un frigorifero inefficiente. Tra l'altro era una camera che affacciava su un patio al piano terra che toglie luce e sole. Non sapevo se essere finito in una prigione oppure in un hotel 4 stelle. Sono costre
