Agriturismo Guthiddai

I spent one night at Guthiddai with my family and it was an amazing experience. The location is great, the establishment is very comfortable and the food is genuine and well prepared. We will go back, especially for the juicy roast lamb and the great wine!

Close to Oliena we stayed a gew nights at this beautiful place. This agriturismo well situated and a great start for hiking trip or a visit to the beach. Tje place breathes finesse and has an excellent atmosphere, also due to the friendly owner and staff. The rooms are cosy, breakfast and dinner are great. Good parking space.

We arrived at Guthiddai with high expectations, with our Lonely Planet naming it as one of the best Agriturismo on the island. Fortunately these expectations were met, as we enjoyed a three night stay. We stayed in a "comfort" room, which was exactly that, with a small terrace overlooking the olive trees. The breakfast buffet was good, but dinner was simply delicious, even better than the meal we enjoyed at the luxury hotel 1km up the road. Guthiddai gets a five star rating due to the personal and charming service from Antonella and Marcello. They work hard to keep their guests happy, providing advice on hiking, conjuring up picnic lunches in a matter of minutes (we didn't order in advance) and taking time to talk about their story and the farm. Lovely people and a welcoming base for the many attractions in the area. We left with some great memories as well as some of the farm produced olive oil and wine.

The place is amazing great people Antonella, Marcello and Luca looked after us they are great host and passionate about there farm and produce & restaurant They also helped organise horse riding and hiking for us which I would highly recommend as this part of Sardinia is just amazing and really the heart of this beautiful country. Short but excellent stay. Agriturismo Guthiddai is a place where you can enjoy some freedom and let your mind relax from the everyday chaos that is around us. Antonella and Marcello are very busy people, but they were always smiling and took care of all details. Marcello thank you for the watermelon…😊 Lovely people!!! Rooms are clean and just what you need, even a small patio which is nice to relax and enjoy the quietness of the agriturismo. But they also have a beautiful and so well maintained garden where you can sit, relax, enjoy one of their own amazing wines and chat with other people. Overall atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. Perfect spot to enjoy the view and all beauty of the agriturismo itself. Especially, the best when coming back from a good trekking! Staff is going above and beyond all the time. Whether it's for serving you one of their great wines, their breakfast or their (tastings) dinners... that place where they put their restaurant is gorgeous! Stunning view. But above all, they helped me out big time with organizing one of the best moments of my life, which was proposing my girlfriend (now fiancee).. they helped me with loads of options on what to do, contact details, decorated the room with roses, candle lights, a bouquet of flowers, an amazing sparkling white wine... I am very grateful for what they did. They did not have to do this, but they do understand hospitality. The area is like a national park in the US. For us, the most beautiful part of the island and this is the best place to stay. Oh, and they also provide you with the best restaurants and they reserved a table for us already while we did not know about this.. just to make sure we had a nice table outside. These people are the best!
