This is a spectacular place to stay. It's an experience in itself, a fairytale setting with its gorgeous courtyard garden complete with fountains, statuary, and the scent of jasmine and roses. The 15th century building is beautifully preserved where it could be, but also updated to high modern comfort standards, and punctuated with fanciful re-use of found bits of ironwork, wonderful old doors, and other creative ways to give it elegance and comfort but also whimsy. The staff could not have been nicer. We were very well looked after, as if visiting a cousin. Breakfast was high-quality, locally sourced and generous.

Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. Barbara and Massimo, the owners, gave us a tour of the palazzo and the neighborhood. Breakfast was great with high quality local products, and the palazzo itself and its garden are stunning. One of the nicest and most beautiful hotels we have ever been to!

From start to finish, it was fantastic and we were very well looked after. The check in times was organised via what’s app, as well as any questions during our stay while we were not at the hotel, which made everything smooth. The hotel bedrooms and breakfast room just look absolutely incredible, we were upgraded as well for our rooms which look exactly as the website pictures. The breakfast room had a fireplace and beautiful ceiling and all the food locally produced which you can tell when you taste, it was very tasty indeed and some of the best juices and jams I’ve had. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great too, very beautiful surrounding and village even if we couldn’t explore much as we were there for work. And very good value value for money! Would highly recommend

What an amazing stay. There's so much history in that place and thank you for giving us the historical tour of the hotel. It really helped bring to live the past and enriched the experience of our stay. Each room is titled differently and pain stakingly designed. Probably have to go back a few times more and stay in all the different rooms.

We stayed in Palazzo Fauzone Relais for one night and wish we had more time! It is a unique place - a carefully restored beautiful palace (palazzo), which used to belong to the most powerful family in Mondovi. The rooms are luxurious, exquisitely tasteful, with attention given to every detail. We had the Secret Garden room, with doors opening onto the beautiful terraced garden at the back, with our own private patio area. The theme of books runs throughout the hotel, with each room linked to a famous book with corresponding beautiful decor. The owners were incredibly welcoming, even taking the time to give us a tour of the magnificent building, explaining its history to us. Our one night stay was an amazing, unique experience and we will definitely be returning. We highly recommend it.

Un magnifique palais renaissance restauré avec énormément de gourmandise et d’attention. Les charmants propriétaires, Barbara et Massimo, ont passé neuf ans a en faire un vrai bijou: fresques du 16e siècle , petit jardin charmant. Les chambres, très confortables sont toutes différentes et chacune illustrant une œuvre littéraire. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec des produits locaux et un très bin café. Les propriétaires et le personnel, en particulier Asma au petit déjeuner, sont très attentionnés. Nous avons passé trois jours très agréables et recommandons fortement.

Endroit merveilleux , chambre exquise , les communs ont été refait avec goût . Les propriétaires parlent parfaitement le français . Petit déjeuner parfait ( nous avons pu profiter d'oeufs aux truffes fraiches ) Un parking sur place est à votre disposition avec un petit supplément . L'addition est vraiment dérisoire pour un hôtel de cette qualité Sans oublier que Mondovi vaut vraiment le déplacement . A vous de voir mais si vous êtes dans le coin , n'hésitez pas

Un experience incroyable. Tout été parfait, Massimo le hôte a été exceptionnel et le lieu est d une magie indescriptible. La veille ville de Mondovi a visiter, la place magique a coté du Palais Fauzone. À visiter absolument pour un week-end ou plus.
