Wonderful hotel with excellent hosts who are very kind and helpful without being intrusive. Superb setting, furnishings and ambience. Difficult to fault in any way. Splendid visit bang in the middle of vineyard area. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. A great host, nothing was too much trouble for Jean-Phillipe, from organising nail appointments, sorting out airport transfers and finding an extra bed in a full hotel for my daughter who was a last minute add-on to our booking.

Beautiful small hotel in a very enjoyable area. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful, perfectly decorated, very comfortable. The garden is very well taken care of. The pool temperature was perfect for summer. Breakfast is great, snack and drinks served by the pool also. Lots of things to visit around, nice villages like Blaye, Bourg, Saint-Emilion, also lots of wineries, cycling tours etc. The F&B options are quite limited at the hotel so one needs to find restaurants around. Small shops around the corner available as well as bakery and pizzeria (take-away). We had a very relaxing stay and will hopefully come back!

Super friendly hosts who couldn’t be more hospitable. Amazing buildings. Fabulous pool. Perfectly clean. Our best night in Bordeaux by a long way! We wish every night in Bordeaux was this good! It was so relaxing and so friendly we wish we had booked a couple more nights. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Wir waren einige Tage im Guesthouse Clos Marcamps und fassen unsere Erfahrungen kurz zusammen. Die Anlage ist grundlegend schön und hat Potenzial, allerdings zwei wichtige Punkte aus unserer Sicht die Maßgebend sind. Es handelt sich um ein Guesthouse welches Hundefreundlich ist. Die Inhaber wohnen ebenfalls mit Hund/Hunden in der Anlage und neben Hundekot in der Anlage (auch direkt vor unserem Zimmer) sind leider auf den Kissen und der Couch viele Hundehaare vorhanden gewesen. Ebenfalls hat das Bett auf einer Seite stark nach Hund gerochen. Des weiteren wohnen die Inhaber im Haupthaus welches vor dem Pool liegt, gut zu sehen auf dem Hauptfoto der Unterkunft. Daher sind die Gäste im hinteren Bereich der Anlage untergebracht was leider den Eindruck entstehen lässt das man als Gast eben auch im Poolbereich und im Haupthaus nicht wirklich Zutritt hat, oder eben nicht wirklich das Gefühl hat hier wie im Hotel eine Art Privatsphäre und Exklusivität zu haben, sondern halt eher ein Gast in der Unterkunft der Inhaber ist. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist zwar minimalistisch aber qualitativ gut. Besonders gut hat uns die freundliche Junge Dame am Frühstück gefallen, die wirklich sehr gastfreundlich und serviceorientiert ist. Der Preis für das Frühstück scheint mir allerdings nicht gerechtfertigt zu sein, da sind wir dann lieber an den Folgetagen in die Cafes in der Nachbarschaft. Alles in allem für den Preis von 80€ pro Nacht für 3 Personen angemessen oder sogar preiswert, allerdings wie oben beschrieben die Merkmale die man in Kauf nehmen muss. Ich denke wir werden lieber ins Hotel das nächste mal.

Ravissant petit manoir dans une superbe région. Les chambres d'hôtes sont confortables et très joliment décorées, rien ne manque pour un séjour calme et reposant. Les hôtes sont accueillants, très sympathiques et chaleureux tout en restant discrets . Aucunes fausses notes.
