Placido made a strong impression during my stay at Hotel Picolo. The coffee he prepared was the best I have tasted, and he was kind enough to explain the process behind it. What really stood out was how approachable he was and how generously he shared the method behind it. His service was excellent throughout, represents the hotel very well and adds real value to the guest experience.

Amazing views, quiet location, awesome staff and service, located between praiano and positano which makes it easy to get to tours, ferries, water taxis and some of the best restaurants in the area as well. The shuttle runs to both Praiano and Positano and is very convenient. Location, quiet, comfrotable, not very busy and Amazing staff and service. Cannot ask for more. Thank you! Don't forget to try the bar out with Placido. His creations are awesome. Placido, Orlando and the staff at the restaurant are also always making your experience awesome.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are very professional. They offer shuttle services to anywhere you need to go such as the marina or restaurants. Wonderful views of Positano from the terraces make breakfast every morning extra special. Don't forget to ask Placido for his espresso martini at bar!

Beautiful and personalized experience. Expansive balconies with unmatched Positano views. More private than other Positano hotels. Shuttle was amazing and could be tailored to our schedule. 100% would stay here again in Amalfi.

I booked for 2 nights as a secret proposal and birthday for my partner and it was simply amazing…breathtaking views, the staff are there 24/7 for you via WhatsApp making your trip effortless and as enjoyable as possible. The hotel itself is very secluded and so peaceful, we went out of season…from what I learnt I would not go to this part of the world in high season as it is not built for the influx of tourists! Sept-Oct still has the weather but far less busy. The hotel has a free shuttle bus service which ferries you to and from the local towns, it is SUPER helpful as nothing is within walking distance from the hotel unless you’re hiking. Everyone at the hotel is so polite, knowledgeable and professional, the food is also amazing, it’s the best service I’ve ever experienced…well worth the money. We rented a car to get to and from the airport, they have plenty of parking space however driving on the amalfi coast is not for the faint hearted or unskilled driver! Thank you, it was truly magical! Recommendations: - Visit the hotel spa - il Pirata restaurant in Praiano - Lunch at the hotel…go for any of the pasta dishes! - Private boat trip in Positano - leave plenty of time getting to/from places
