Curiol Boutique Hotel & Lounge

The hotel is pristine with friendly staff. We stayed in one of the tents and even though it was warm we were comfortable with just the fans on. We heard monkeys howling in the night. I could watch my daughter swim in the pool from our porch. The restaurant had excellent smoothies and was able to accommodate food allergies. We would stay here again.

Nice change of pace hotel for those looking for something different then typical hotel experience. Would call this very high end glamping. Rooms all have own bathrooms and solid roof over your head. Bathroom, least in our room, was partially outside (though totally private) which was cool different experience, my only tip though regarding that is be ready for bugs, specially mosquitos, if no bug spray on when you use bathroom. All rooms nicely located around central pool and bar/restaurant area. Pool was decent in size and seemed to be used by quite a few guest while we were there. The free breakfast included in my rate was great! Parking, least for my room, was right outside the walls of hotel, but seemed to have security cameras and it was well lit so didnt have any concerns on car break-ins. Hotel is about a 3 block walk to beach and a 5 minute walk to quite a handful of restaurants/bars/brewery and market place. Was impressed with beach, much nicer then I expected with clean sand , warm water and beautiful cove/surroundings.

Attended a retreat at Curiol and have nothing but glowing reviews. Javier and the crew are incredibly hospitable and show a genuine care in all they do. Located near beautiful beaches and amenities. Absolutely no regrets, what a magical place 💕
