Hotel Punta Regina

We came here for a family vacation and had a wonderful time and received amazing care and attention from the fabulous Francesca and the staff, Giuseppina, Mario, and Giuseppi (our rooftop server). We had two rooms in the main hotel and we also had the 3 bedroom Villa Punta Re. We had a cook come to our villa and cook us a meal for 8 people and we took the suggestion for a wonderful 1/2 day boat excursion. The hotel helped us get the bags from the rooms to the ferry landing on the day of departure. The location is amazing with great food/drink options nearby in either direction and it was also a short walk down to the beach! Just amazing. Magical! VictorB

We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Everyone working at the hotel is top notch and super friendly. This really made a difference. We had read online about their attentive service and it is no joke. Some of the friendliest staff members we encountered our whole trip. The rooftop is spectacular. The pictures online don’t do it justice. The pool is big enough for the size of the hotel and the views are incredible. The breakfast is also served on the roof overlooking the water and the breakfast itself is fresh and very tasty. They had a few different special options each morning such as different vegetables and both savory and sweet pastries. The location is great. There are lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. I would recommend walking down the street all the way to the center or beach instead of the stairs. It’s a lot easier and about a 15 minute walk with lots of shops on the way. Lastly, the cleanliness is excellent. The rooms are spacious and they cleaned them multiple times a day which we were very surprised by. My only possible gripe would be the noise coming from the street but this would happen anywhere in Positano as the hotels are all right on top of the main road. Stay at the Punta Regina!

Great find in Positano. Rooms roomy, clean, comfy with spectacular view. Pool terrace where yummy breakfast was served had amazing view and was such a great place to hang out relax and have a beverage. Location was perfect for us; away from the tourist crowds, but happening and walking distance to some great restaurants. You can walk down to the water too and back-it’s good exercise! Last but certainly not least, the staff was the best. So helpful and friendly, can not say enough about Francesca. We left our passport in room and she saved the rest of our vacation!

We stayed 3 nights in September but since we had to change dates, we had to move to a standard room after 2 nights. I would strongly recommend NOT to book a standard room. It’s very noisy with no view. The views from our third level suite were amazing and it was quiet. Rooms are a bit outdated. No complimentary water which is a small thing but very surprising. The staff is amazing. Everyone we dealt with aimed to please. The breakfast was fantastic and they provided lots of gluten free options and went above and beyond to bring me a gluten free croissant after the first day!

Perfect stay. Wonderful rooms, wonderful view, wonderful breakfast, and amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for more. The pool has an amazing view and is perfect to avoid the crowds on the beach. Room was extremely spacious and immaculately clean. The outdoor jacuzzi was a nice little value add.

Great staff! Always friendly and helpful. Photo of pool is deceiving. It’s a very small pool not like the picture. We had a junior suite with a large terrace that was very comfortable. The roasted peppers at breakfast were a treat and always delicious!
