My sister and went here for lunch this week. Quite an awful experience. We both had ordered the sirloin sandwich , chips and garlic bread. When it arrived I didn’t get any waitress make a mistake. The chips were half cold, the garlic bread was so hard that you could have broken a tooth, the sourdough with the steak was so hard the knife wouldn’t even cut it. The steak which was asked to be well done was pink in the middle. We had to send the whole lot back. We paid for our 2 coke but that was the height of it. So very very disappointed . We went across the road and got a beautiful sausage roll.it was lovely.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay - the food was absolutely stunning - but we felt it was important to flag that the front desk service didn’t quite meet the high standard of the rest of the experience. A little extra training here would really bring the guest experience up to the level of the hotel’s otherwise excellent offering.

We are a family with a son with a severe dairy allergy. Hotel staff couldn't have looked after us any better. Right from time of booking, Michelle on reception reassured us that the kitchen could accommodate us and alerted all staff about the allergy. Restaurant staff were all aware, accommodating and reassuring. Head chef Stephen spoke to us in person and a safe and delicious dairy free dinner was prepared for our son. Breakfast chef Monica next morning was the same. First class.

Excellent boutique hotel. Friendly and professional staff, breakfast and dinner were terrific. Bathroom would benefit from grabrails as difficult to get in and out of baths, plus two showerheads a little confusing to operate. A light inside the wardrobe would be good as it was difficult to see the Coffee machine which is plugged in inside. A little dusty in the corners of the bathroom and bedroom.

I paid for my parents to have a weekend in their deluxe double for a special birthday. When they got to the room, it had someone’s trainer left under a chair and golf tees lying in the room from a previous stay! The next day no cleaner appeared and my parents had to ask at 3pm if someone could come and change towels etc. someone arrived and folded the dirty towels and left them back on the bed! Dirty cups were not replaced and no tea or coffee replaced either. Certainly not 5 star. I rang to speak to GM on Monday it’s now Wednesday and he still hasn’t returned my numerous calls. Don’t waste your money going here

The hotel itself is very central and inside is beautiful. The rooms are magnificent. you could tell there were some teething problems as it’s not long under the Marine Lawn Group, but the receptionist Michelle was amazing! However, the restaurant did slightly let it down, pest (flies) issue during dinner and breakfast, food itself was nice, not huge portions for the prices but nice, and seemed very rushed to eat and go. Would definitely stay again (maybe not using the restaurant next time) there are better places to eat in portrush until this is brought up to par with the rest of the hotel.
