Bank Apartments

Stayed in the penthouse apartment for three nights and loved it! We used Portrush as a jumpoff point to see the Antrim coast. Unique set up with a bedroom and a separate living space with a small kitchen. Two bathrooms was very nice. Penthouse is three stories up-fyi.

From the outset my wife and I were impressed with these apartments which we booked for a short break celebrating our anniversary. As the name suggests the building was a bank, and its location is ideal and central to everything in Portrush. The building has been elegantly renovated to an extremely high standard. They have managed to create a space which retains many original stylish features, yet you are in no doubt whatsoever that you are in a very modern, very well equipped and very tech rich building controlling access, heating etc. Our apartment was very tastefully decorated, the furniture was all of a high quality as was the kitchenette, utensils etc. It was the same for the bedroom which had an en-suite, and another ‘main’ bathroom, all of which were meticulously clean. All communication was carried out online, and I downloaded an app allowing me to use my mobile phone as a key to the main door and our apartment, rather than using the numerical code provided. Two things I will just mention not as negatives, merely for information (both are mentioned on their website) 1. Accessibility: To gain access via the main door there are 4-5 fairly steep steps, and if your apartment is anywhere other than the ‘Church Suite’ on the ground floor, then there will be staircases to climb. If you happen to be on the top floor, where we were, then it’s 2.5 staircases, so it’s not really suitable for those with mobility issues. *Note - there is no lift. 2. Parking: Parking is on street, and can be limited during busy times. If you have a lot of luggage, you could end up having to park a distance from the building, but later on in the evening you could move closer which is what we did. To summarise, these apartments are excellent, I would describe them as luxury apartments, in a great location, and we would have no hesitation in re-booking with them should we decide to return to Portrush.

An unbelievably stylish Apartment, in the heart of Portrush. Arrived here for an overnight stay for two couples. On arrival in the Apartment it was clear with all the fixtures, fittings and furniture being of the highest quality, that it was going to be an enjoyable stay. Everything is provided and the beds were super comfortable. The location also meant all major social amenities were within walking distance, a massive plus for those not wanting to take taxis to get around. Would highly recommend, to families, couples and friends.

A beautiful historic building finished to a very high standard. Our group of 9 adults were in the Heritage and Grand Suites which were right beside each other. Super clean and very comfortable with crisp high quality bed linen and gorgeous fluffy towels. Spacious and comfy living/dining areas with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Everything we needed for a lovely stay, thank you.

Quite possibly the most beautiful apartment I’ve ever stayed in! A huge living area, so comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the bathroom was spacious and gorgeous. The bedroom was quite small, but adequate for my needs, and the bed was unbelievably comfy - like lying on a giant, soft but surprisingly supportive marshmallow! Location is perfect for all the beaches, shops, bars, and restaurants. Would highly recommend - yes, it’s expensive, but worth every penny for those extra touches of luxury.

These apartments are truly amazing and so relaxing. Luxurious, well equipped and kept to a very high standard. Convenient for restaurants and the beach. Have stayed here twice and will definitely be back. Natasha, the General Manager is extremely helpful and attentive. A true asset to the Bank Apartments. The staff are always helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you to Natasha and the team for such an enjoyable visit.
