An-Airidh Bed & Breakfast Portree

Outstanding B and B. Wonderful room with fridge and microwave, 2 tables with chairs, self contained with your own entrance. Super bathroom and wardrobe space. Cutlery, plates and washing up facilities provided for use if needed. Super view over the bay. 15 min walk from Portree centre. Really good breakfast, delivered to your room! Alan (never really met Alex) is a brilliant bloke. Nothing too much trouble. He helped us out with a personal issue for which we are really grateful. Recommend 100%. If we need Skye accommodation again An Airidh will be our first choice.

Recently stayed here and can not praise Alex enough, from the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed as old friends. The property was easy to find and the booking in process was easily undertaken. Our room was fabulous, plenty of space, tea and coffee facilities, Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave, binoculars and the most amazing views over the waterways and anything that we wanted was available on request. The bed was huge and the best pillows ever. Alex had a wealth of local knowledge and advised us on everything that we asked both on the island and the mainland. He is the perfect host and goes above me beyond to look after his guests. Breakfast was brought to our room and was outstanding. We cannot praise this venue and the hosts enough and definitely recommend.

Our experience at An-Airidh Bed and Breakfast was exceptional. The room was beautiful, with lovely views out the picture window. The breakfasts excellent and our hosts welcoming and friendly. The B & B was located close to downtown Portree and very convenient as a base to explore the island.

Out of the five places we stayed during our trip to Scotland, An Airidh was by far our favorite (and we stayed at very nice hotels)! From the initial phone call on the day we would arrive to the check-out process, everything was perfect and the personal touch set them above the rest. The views from the window are absolutely stunning and would have been enough, but the room itself was cozy and comfortable as well. It felt like home. The bed was so comfortable! Even though it is a "bed and breakfast," the room has an en suite and its own private entrance which was very nice. The toiletries they provided were some of my favorites from our trip as well. Breakfast was wonderful and plenty of options! The location was also great. We will absolutely stay there again if we get back to Scotland and will recommend it to everyone until then!

Host makes you feel very welcome and gives great suggestions what to see and where to go and where to eat. Room is great with a wonderful view. Very good breakfast. All in all, everything you wish for when it cocerns a great stay. Thanks a lot and cheers.

Alan and Alex make you feel so comfortable and welcome. The room had everything we needed and our view was beautiful. They shared with us the ins and outs of Skye. We were able to explore places we didn’t even know about! Breakfast was delicious, The best porridge I had in my trip! So accommodating and gracious. Book here!
