The towels are the softest I've ever felt... I had some of the best sleep of my life here.. The design / interiors of this B&B are so simple, yet fresh, and organic. Lots of bright natural light in the common space during the day and great views from the windows of the common space into the beautiful, quiet, peaceful, charming neighborhood of West End. It's a small, unassuming, extremely comfortable B&B. The bed was so soft and I would stay back again in room 2. Guys, room 2 was so comforting omg. I felt SOO soothed when I walked into it. The blue hues of the room with the white are so pleasant and they just melt you away into peace. I love the windows of this room. Large windows. Beautiful views - if you want the charming brick neighborhood to be a part of your visual experience. I napped during the day, once after I checked in and I had such an amazing nap with all the beautiful daylight coming in and flooding the room from the large windows. It was such an elevating experience - staying in room 2. Highly, highly , highly recommend.

The West End Inn is a charm! It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood filled with historic homes and void of commercial surroundings, but only a short walk to restaurants, museums, and the civic center. Each room is unique and well appointed. The downstairs common area is available 24 hours and offers cozy sitting around a gas fire place where you can enjoy a drink, read, and enjoy board games. I highly recommend this romantic get-away!

This was our second stay at the West End Inn. Again, Milan, the innkeeper, did a phenomenal job in making us comfortable. While it was very, very cold in Portland, the WEI was warm and the tea, coffee and cookies that were laid out increased our satisfaction. Add to that the five-star breakfasts that Milan created every morning, and we felt more than pampered. Since our first stay we have recommended the WEI to numerous people who have said they are traveling to Portland. Parking is not an issue and it's a short walk from the WEI to downtown. Thank you Milan, and we will be back! David and Wendy

BEST SLEEP EVER These guys have the most meticulous housekeeping ever I had the king size bed in a beautiful room, and sooo quiet!! Staff are super friendly, bathroom was as clean and nice as a living room, If you want a really cozy, book and quiet friendly environment, come here

The inn and our room were beautiful and charming. The space was very comfortable. It was a lovely and quiet neighborhood very close to downtown. Staff was kind and courteous. The on-site wine and drinks were a fun touch. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had!

We love the West End Inn. Great service, breakfast and very comfortable rooms and beds. The location is quiet, but a great place to staying when wanting to be close to Portland. We have stayed here a number of times and will definitely be back!

This was our second stay here, nine years after our first visit during peak summer season and we loved it just as much as the first! The innkeeper was incredibly hospitable and kind. Visiting during the offseason made our stay even more relaxing, giving us the chance to explore the city and its restaurant scene stress-free. Every minute of our time here was wonderful. Highly recommend!

The inn is cozy, relaxed and quiet. The staff is outstanding - friendly, helpful and accommodating. Something really special about the West End Inn is the excellent breakfast which is made fresh to order every morning! The location is also close to bars, restaurants and shops without being in a busy spot. Convenient parking as well
