We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of March. The stay cost us just £112 for the 2 nights room only. We absolutely loved the hotel, and everyone who stayed agreed that they would want to return. The location is perfect, just opposite the train station with the lovely Spooners cafe / pub within minutes. We paid an additional £20 for one of the new premier plus rooms, which was great and came with a fridge, coffee machine, bottle of water, and an amazing view over the estuary and station. We ate in the hotel restaurant each evening and the food was excellent. We also used the small bar area during the day. The parking was fine as we had read reviews and made sure that we were back for 3 pm each day. We all agreed that the most impressive part of this hotel was the staff. They were amazing .. so friendly, approachable, helpful, and just a joy to be around! Thanks, go to all of them for making our stay a great one. Premier Inn is lucky to have you all. I was particularly impressed that when we ordered coffee in the restaurant, they did not charge me for my decaf as it was the same as the decaf sachets they have in the room. Impressed as they could have charged as most places do! I suppose the only slight downside was the new bed .. we prefer the old ones as this felt very hard, as did the pillows. And being really picky now ... please can you consider having a decaf pod for the coffee machine? We would recommend this PI to anyone and have already messaged friends. Thanks for a great 2 days.

Everyone I dealt with at Portmadog Premier Inn was pleasant and welcoming. The room and bed were of the usual Premier Inn standard of confort and cleanliness. One critisism of many hotels is that the bacon and sausages can be undercooked for me but at Porthmadog this was not the case. The sausages were perfectly browned. We also had an evening meal which was also excellent.

the food was excellent and the bed was very comfy and a lovely vuie of the harbour.staff was very helpful and friendly . resturant was very well layed out and clean. -security was very good .and very well thought out /car parking was abit of a problem if you arrived late

This is a great hotel for short breaks within easy reach of Snowdonia a North Wales resorts. It location is very good with outlooks either over the estuary or the mountains. It is a fairly new hotel so is bright and airy and kept spotlessly clean. It also has the great benefit of having very friendly staff who are attentive and helpful. We stayed using the meal deal which is great value for money with a good standard of food. Highly recommend a break to this Premier Inn.

The Premier Inn at Porthmadog is superb. We stayed for one night and everything about our visit was perfect. We stayed in a Premier Plus room which was very spacious and extremely comfortable. Our top floor room had a stunning view and although it faced the road it was extremely quiet. Breakfast was excellent quality and VFM. All the staff are brilliant and free on site parking was a real bonus. We will certainly be making a return visit.

Gorgeous surroundings, nice touch not having to pay for parking. Gentleman that checked us in had realised we’d made a mistake with the breakfast, said “don’t worry I’ll sort it” which was nice, however didn’t complete on his promise, arrived for breakfast and was told only 1 booked for breakfast, even know I only had fruit and yoghurt, had to pay.(it isn’t that we had to pay that was the problem, it was we were told that it didn’t matter the night before and he would sort it for us) Room clean, was a gentleman in the bar on the night (didn’t have any manners as every word contained a swear word) Staff was ok, just could have been a bit more attentive to what customers were doing and needed, they were not busy so should have not had to wait to get a drink.

It is a good Premier Inn in a stunning location. If you were an avid birdwatcher, that is five minutes from the door, as would be for any steam enthusiasts, steam trains five minutes out of the door. Both seaside walks and mountain hiking trails start from here.

Another brilliant stay at Premier Inn Porthmadog. Friendly helpful staff. Nothing to much trouble. Fresh tasty breakfast. Evening meal also tasty and reasonably priced Room was very clean with everything we needed. Car park on site to. Would recommend.

A great place with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and great breakfast provision. Our Premier Plus room, with views over the bay, was superb. There was a shortage of parking car parking after returning from an evening out - this must be a problem in high season. Overall a great stay - we came to enjoy the ZipWire in Bethesda - and we would use this hotel again for our next stay in North Wales.
