Plenty of really nice staff, many the same as last time I visited. Great location and rooms recently modernised. Excellent breakfast. The beer garden is a terrace overlooking the harbour which was a former pier. Private entrance for guests and limited nearby parking.

Lovely place, decorated to give a beautiful embiance. The bar, restaurant area and the rooms all a pleasure to be in. Beds very comfy, gorgeous pillows and a proper shower. The staff are all very well trained kind, helpful and couldn't fault one of them.

From the moment I stepped into the place till I left it was all terrific. Fantastic location. The highlight by far of my trip to Cornwall. Friendly staff, great food awesome spot, really nice room overlooking harbour. Wow. Highly recommend.

The rooms have really improved since the refurbishment a several years ago. We weren't sure about the 3 shopping baskets(decor) hanging on the wall, nor the 70's style dome security camera in the middle of the room! Hopefully we weren't filmed? The view from the room was over a flat roof festooned with building material remains from the refurbishment (3/4 yrs ago), towards the harbour head. Other windows had the same building materials! Unsure why, after so long, they hadn't been cleared? We turned up at 0730 for breakfast as we had a critical appointment to attend at 0800. We were finally presented with breakfast 40 minutes later! The bacon was dry, the Mushrooms over cooked, and generally not only a dismal offering but probably one of the worst "full English" I've had in a very long time!

Our whole stay was perfect. We requested a dog friendly room, and on arrival our four legged friend received his own little stay over pack which was lovely The beds are amazing, me and my husband both said we had the best two night sleep, this is also helped by the rooms being the perfect temperature. The room was clean, tidy and well looked after and included everything you needed for your stay. It’s also very quiet which is always good for a night sleep. Breakfast was very nice and it provided a relaxed atmosphere ready to start the day. We also had our evening meal on our first night (we visited family on the second) and all the food we had was lovely - seafood platter, steak, burgers, waffle - all very nice Also have a great selection of beer, wine and some cocktails Overall a perfect place to stay, in a perfect location. PS - the light idea in the bathroom is genius for those late night bathroom trips

My daughter and I stayed for 1 night while walking the coast path. We arrived quite tired after the walk from Penzance and were immediately greeted and taken to our rooms, although the pub was pretty busy. The staff here are really very very good - lovely bunch. Rooms were superb, dinner delicious and breakfast just as good. We walk together every year for a week and enjoy discussing the 7 or so places we have stayed. Harbour Inn came top this year!

We recently stayed for 2 nights. We arrived on Sunday afternoon to a packed bar and restaurant but soon we were enjoying a great Sunday toast. Frankly I don’t know how the staff cope with so many people dining together with residents arriving. Also the numerous other people enjoying the harbour side bar s short hop across the road. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Excellent.
