Apartamentos Massol

Having previously stayed at the sister apartments, Flora, this year we stayed at Massol. The one bed apartment suited our family of 4 really well. Two single beds in the bedroom and two sofa beds in the lounge. In the Flora it was a sofa bed and a pull out truckle bed, so Massol felt like everyone got a proper bed. The bathroom was also bigger than Flora, but at the Massol the bathroom did not have an external window, so at times smelt a bit musty. The apartment was clean and modern and had everything we needed. We ate breakfast and prepared lunch there most days and then went out for dinner. The location is perfect, a very short walk to the Pine Walk and the fabulous restaurants. Also a 5 minute walk to the square for market day. There’s a Spar two minutes round the corner which was really convenient, or a slightly further walk to Eroski. The pool is a good size relative to the number of apartments, although you can also use the pool area at Flora, which we did a couple of times. The apartments are rated as ‘2 key’ so are more functional as a base rather than being an experience in themselves, but when you’re out and about all day, that’s all that’s needed. The area felt safe, and we would return.

I had such a pleasant experience at Massol. My apartment was very clean, a perfect size and condition for this solo traveller. Melissa was so helpful and courteous and forever making sure that if I wanted a clean, most days I didn't because I'm well able to make my own bed but she swapped towels when required and the couple of days I did the service was impeccable. She always greated mé with a huge smile and with lovely genuine energy. It was exactly a four minute walk to the beach so I didn't bother with the pool facilities. The pool looked very small but never seemed busy. There were security cameras and the area itself felt safe. Locked gates to enter which is reassuring. Situated at the back Street of the resort it is super close to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. Only a 4 minute walk to the mountain trek Camí de Bóquer which is an AMAZING hike. Everything that Puerto Pollenca has to offer is super close and on a flat surface so easy for all sorts of walkers. The Pine Walk also 4 minutes away so every which way it's a 4 minute walk to something beautiful. I highly recommend Massol, book early so not to be disappointed.

We booked direct and requested a quite apartment and were allocated **. Whilst it was a bit of a struggle up the stairs with the case it was worth it. A clean well appointed 1 bedroom apartment that represented excellent value for money. Good location for both the town, beach and bus station.

Pro's: 👍🏻 Welcoming and friendly reception & bar team. 👍🏻 Massol is situated within a quiet area, so don't get much, if at all, disturbances. 👍🏻 Nice views of the hillsides and plenty of sunshine all day. 👍🏻 Nice onsite swimming pools, both at the main Reception/Apartment area and off site Apartments. 👍🏻 Secure complex (CCTV, locked gates) Con's: 👎🏻 Very basic rooms, no TV in bedroom, mouldy in places. 👎🏻 Stained pillows. 👎🏻 No chance of a peaceful lie in bed with noisy housekeeping (chatting loudly and dragging furniture along the floor which echoes to other rooms). 👎🏻 WIFI is shocking, poor signal & kept disconnecting from devices and/or switching off. 👎🏻 No actual entertainment onsite, there's 2 pool tables for the adults and a few arcade games for kids and that's it.

A quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle, yet only minutes from it. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a view overlooking the swimming pool and a mountain view. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and obliging. Easy online booking directly with Flora apartment and then super easy check in there on arrival. The lovely receptionist (apologies, I forgot her name) walked us to our apartment across the road and behind the Flora apartments. Couldn't have been simpler. We received (as requested) a 1st floor apartment. There's no lift so we wanted to be off the ground but not so high that the stairs would be a challenge with rental bikes. The apartment block is only 3 floors (Ground, 1st and 2nd). The apartment itself is as pictured. The building may be a little dated, but the apartments seem to have been recently refurbished. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bedroom is as was expected. Beds pretty comfortable for us. Plenty of pillows and extra heavy blankets which were not required in the 30+ degree temps. Air conditioning in bedroom and also in living area and these were a godsend. Bathroom was great, LOVED the power in the shower and also that it was a walk in shower. Looks like the bathroom has only recently been upgraded. The kitchen unit has a kettle and a toaster... tbh, that was a plus. The two ring hob worked fine. Tv has some English channels, BBC and ITV but we didn't watch it. All in all, I would recommend the Massol apartment. About a 5 - 7 Minutes walk from the square, about a 3 minute walk to the bakery and a deli.

Amazing location - Spar around the corner and beach/restaurants 5 mins walk. The one bedroom apartment was very clean and modern with everything we needed, we requested a ground floor pool view room and this is what we were give . The pool was great and we also spent some time over at Flora which was fab, kids loved the kids club and pools.
