Riverside Apartments by the Beach

Awful!! Our family was scammed. The pictures are all lies! Pay a couple hundred dollars mor to go somewhere else! Trust me! The walls are paper thin, the rooms are infested with bugs, the elevator is gross and has graffiti, the management team is rude. Should I go on??

Thank you for a wonderful stay , better then expected! My family and I had a great time and went to the pool to enjoy the day and then walked to the beach which was so close. We booked again for next year ! Check in was fast and for check out we just called the property which was fast and amazing.

Check-in as entered on Agoda booking is from 04:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. We arrived at 11:10 p.m. Nobody was there. I met some people there who already booked an Apartment. They told me that the office already was closed at 04:00 p.m. Additionally I received a mail in the morning at the same day telling me that somebody would wait for me at the accomodation, further details will follow. I never received those details. It lasted until 04:30 a.m. until I finally I could go to bed - in another hotel. The time in between was spent trying to find out the phone number of this accomodation without succeeding, numerous and endless as well as expensive calls with Agoda who really tried to help me (thx for that again, but didn‘t succeed like me), finding a new accommodation and finally going there. „Thank you“ to Riverside for waisting my time and money as well as the next day of my vacation (of course we did not get up so early as intended). I would recommend to look for something else - do not stay here.

The apartment was OK but a little old. the pool and the things around the pool outside was not the same as the pictures. We didn’t use the pool and the other things around the pool. The price for this place wasn’t that cheap so we will not recommend it.

We stayed at this "hotel" for three nights. Is it a hotel or an Air B&B calling it a hotel? Initially, our impression of the place wasn't very positive. Upon arriving and seeing metal shopping carts in the hallway, we couldn't help but feel uneasy, wondering if the area was sketchy or if people were living in the hotel. However, we soon discovered that this wasn't the case; the carts were provided for guests to transport luggage or for housekeeping to handle laundry. Nevertheless, first impressions matter, and the presence of these carts along with the elevator in need of a fresh coat of paint gave off an air of neglect and just "cutting corners or being cheap". Simply repainting the elevator and investing in better luggage and laundry carts would greatly improve the aesthetic. We were pleasantly surprised to find the exterior and our room clean, updated and well-maintained. The only downside to our room was its connection to the main office. I would suggest replacing the hollow MDF door with a sturdier metal one for added security and privacy. The pool is beautiful and there is also a garden area with a tiki hut where we used to have supper with the kids. The hotel's proximity to Walgreens made it convenient for snacks, and its location just minutes away from the beach, particularly the new Pompano Beach Pier, was a major highlight. The surrounding area shows a promising atmosphere, with plenty of people fishing and a palpable sense of growth and positivity. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to have easy beach access, a nice pool to sit by and to have the feel of a hotel, but also feeling independent like it is an Air B&B.

On the weekend 2-3.09 hotel was busy due to Labor day, from Saturday morning until 8:30pm the swimming pool has been taking by 20 people (maybe more) loud music (2 speakers from both sides of the pool) , drinks , food, dancing, singing, smoking (not only cigarettes ).The Pool area was taking over for a private party that was only allowed for one culture of people! The pool looked like human soup and I want to mention that none of them left the pool for bathroom reason! The same event has continued on Sunday . This was very disrespectful , disgraceful and frustrating why can’t I use the hotel facility that I paid for? especially when it stop rain . they have international customers and management should make sure that everyone is treated with respect and able to enjoy time at the Hotel / facilities. None of the hotel staff said or did anything to stop this nightmare, leaving the rest of guest behind and disappointed . I understand parting , music, fun time on a long weekend but this is not a beach, private property or open space, this is hotel pool that everyone should be able to use! I am truly disappointed and shocked that nobody took any action (make sure they are behaving well so others can enjoy the pool too) especially when alcohol etc. were involved. Cleaning service not so great food left in the microwave for days and smell so bad (yes housekeeper has been sent to clean it, but still !) In the middle on the week, my friend was on the pool plus family of 3 when a couple arrived at the pool which is absolutely fine considering the guy have a large knife! Why do you need a knife at the pool? Family of 3 left the pool and reported to the reception. These things should never happen in any Hotel /facilities. There is no security , nobody from 9pm , anybody can walk in and do whatever they want. What about security ? I have sent it complain but respond was :we can't ask our guest to not use the pool (which I have never asked for ) about the security they said we have CCTV and reception until midnight (from 9pm there is nobody there cos I have checked ) Poor and In the middle on the week, my friend was on the pool plus family of 3 when a couple arrived at the pool which is absolutely fine considering the guy have a large knife! There is no security , nobody from 9pm , anybody can walk in and do whatever they want. What about security ? the respond was very poor and unprofessional. I will never return to this place and also never recommended .
