We made a long break since we visited hotel last time but everything is perfect still, honestly the buffet is better. Cleanliness also hospitality are great.The hotel is well position so you could reach it directly from Croatia avoiding toll charges.

An incredible weekend here with the wife. Restful in every way imaginable. The nature outside was magical, and the interior was amazing with lots to do. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. We loved our stay and will deffinitively be back

I loved this place, theres so muči to do, I barem saw my wife for days. The staff was really pleasant and exhuding relaxation. Theres great food ,amazing views ,all in all its a full rejting experience. There is noćne i wont reccomnd this to for sure

Stayed 4 nights for a business conference. Very nice surroundings and spa/pool facilities. Friendly and very helpful staff, painless check-in. Extensive breakfast with lots of options. Kudos to the bar staff (especially Katja) for accomodating our group almost every night. Very spacious rooms with the usual amenities (no iron though). My only problem with this hotel is that it's pretty hot almost everywhere (and it wasn't even summer yet). The air conditioning in my room didn't work, and when I was given another room (without hassle) it worked - but only a little bit. Same problem in the common areas such as the bar and the restaurant. If climate conditions were better I would rate it maximum - because the rest is superb. Conference facilities were also decent.

The olimia complex is an ideal place for relaxation with wellness, swimming pools, saunas, jacuzzis and friendly and professional staff, numerous restaurants and bars, and children's playrooms. safe recommendation as a welcome bottle of bubbly in the room

sotelija wellness is a wonderful place to relax and the sauna, jacuzzi, crazy restaurants and bars, and the wellness staff and hotel staff are here to truly provide you with the ultimate pleasure, definitely recommended.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

a great place to relax in a room with a jacuzzi and a sauna, 2 TVs, a safe, a fridge, 2 bathrooms... lunch, dinner, all 5, everything neat and clean, friendly and professional staff. Will definitely come back for recommendations. 👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍

we were on vacation for 10 days with my friend, we had a jacuzzi and a sauna in the room, everything was perfect, clean, friendly, kind staff, lunch and dinner buffet table, all praise and recommendations we will definitely be back wonderful royal treatment

Relaxing a quiet. Food was delicious and well prepared. Versatile breakfast for the best start of the day. Sauna and Orhidelia spa is just amazing and nothing to complain about. Rooms in the hotel were clean and warm.

We were staying there for 10 days but had to leave 1 day earlier cause of something that happened the day before. My 10 year old daughter was photographed by one of the older guests. I caught him red handed and called the police. There were about 20 pictures of her in his phone. All taken from different angles. Police took his phone and investigation is going. We didn’t want to stay any longer there in case we would run into the man or his handicapped son. We didn’t even dare to go to the breakfast area in case we might run into them. I told the manager and I thought they would be caring enough to give us something to eat when I told them. The only thing they did was giving back tourism tax for that night and said they couldnt even return hotel costs for the next day. Anyway, iam more concerned about the fact that there is a guy walking around on that property that in my eyes shouldn’t even shouldn’t be around kids.

This was a second time we stayed in Sotelia. The first one was exactly (to the day) 10 years ago, and we we anxious to see if it is still our favorite hotel. And is sure was. Sotelia team maintained it perfectly and assured that we enjoyed every second of our stay there. With water temperature in pools (and there are many of them in Orhidelia terme - spa) at or above 90F, it was very hard to decide to get out of the pool. Perfectly clean with crystal clear thermal water, and all sorts of hydro massages, it was absolutely perfect place to relax. It is important to say that Orhidelia is for adults only and never overcrowded, what made our stay there even more pleasurable. Hotel itself is amazingly incorporated into the surrounded nature, a pure masterpiece of architecture. Our room was clean and well maintained, and we received a bottle of thermal mineral water every morning. Food in the restaurant was plentiful, fresh and tasty, and both breakfast and dinner spreads had so many options that it was hard to choose and not overeat. Our romantic dinner in the Gratiola restaurant was really nice, with candlelight and great food, masterfully served. Shout out to two remarkable staff members - Marija in Pomum bar by the pool, made a perfect Latte and served it with kindness and smile every single time. Mateja Bobek is an amazing artist and meditations with gong were absolutely perfect. She would finish every class with singing, and it was like hearing the angel. We are making plans for our next trip to Sotelia. and we are certain that it will be soon. Strongly recommended if you wand and need a total relaxation....

We are still staying in Sotelia hotel, and I cant use enough compliments, from hotel room, staff, logiaticks, friendliness and the food. Even though they have to feed hundreds of people the food is tasty, and staff proffessional. Made me wander how many employees they need to keep this running with current load of visitors. All in all, come here no mater the weather a lot to do for kids and even more for adaults, and that is not just indoor. ;) I hope you anjoy the stay as much as we did so far. BR, Urban

We heard so much good about it before our arrival,but left the hotel disappointed. The rooms are nice, but the heating was not working in our room. I had to ask the reception several times to have it checked. When the technicians arrived, they repaired it in only one room (we had a family room) and mentioned the other room perhaps even cannot be repaired, but that they will come later to try again. They didn't return and we weren't given feedback on it on the reception when we asked, no one knew anything. The entire stay we were in the cold room, my daughter caught a cold and a terrible cough thanks to it. The service was bad. When we arrived with two kid and a bunch of luggage, they didn't offer any help. The cleaning service did not put fresh water and fruit daily - which they boast with everywhere in ads. The waiters at the restaurant were uninterested, sometimes even rude. They have this funny system where you have to eat dinner within a defined hour, you have to define when you will come in advance, although the dinner lasts longer. Towards the end of dinner, there are no waiters, no one wants to take your drinks order even if it is still dinnertime. There is plenty of choice of food, but it is bland, everything tastes the same. I expected a higher quality for such a hotel. The pools are beautiful, clean. There weren't many people when we were there, but in peak season there are probably since the pool sunbeds are arranged next to each other literally, there is not 1 mm of space between the sunbeds.

Value for money, hm not so much for spa! Location and all the facilities splendid. Food was ok. In the family spa area, no room anywhere to sit and put your things...all chairs /spots reserved and taken. We were on the floor. The same happened the next day (chairs/spots taken for hours with no people...and almost 50% of chairs like that). Rooms are too hot, as heating in room was as in spa with no regulation possible.

I recently stayed with husband and 2 children (3 and 1 year old) at this hotel. We booked 2 interconnecting rooms, for 4 nights. We chose the Sotelia due it advertising itself as being "family friendly", but well... As soon as you get to reception you're met with a flight of stairs to get to the mezzanine, where the lifts are located - the same stairs you have to take every morning and evening to access the restaurant...not ideal with a pram. There is a service lift from ground to mezzanine, but not offered to guests - only for luggage / concierge / disabled. In addition, the hotel has an indoor tunnel to connect it to the spa, but it is full of stairs and no lifts or ramps, making it useless for parents with young kids with prams or disabled people. The rooms we had both had cobwebs in the bathroom and one room even had someone's hair in the bathroom (found on the sink and the toilet seat). The bathroom floors were not washed once during our stay (i know because there was a sticky stain my eldest created on day 1 which stayed there through the holiday) - nor was a piece of toilet paper picked up from behind the toilet. The spa treatments we tried from the hotel's own spa were not tip top, either. The shoulder, back and neck massage with foot and face massage was way too light (despite me repeatedly requesting more pressure i was being carressed by the masseuse), but the worst part is that the lady had long nails with some nail art on her thumbs which scratched me each time she applied any pressure to my skin. The facial i had was nice, except a gel was put on my eyes, followed by some oil / masque (not sure tbh) also on my eyes...causing my eyes to water for the rest of the day. For a hotel in a thermal spa you would expect this to be their bread and butter and for it to be one of the better treatments of my life, but it certainly had lots of room for improvement. When i pointed out the long nails after my massage, the spa receptionist said she would pass that on to the masseuse...and that was that. Last, but not least, on our check out morning, at 7.22 AM, my husband and i heard our bedroom door open and someone come in. They then left the room, and i rushed out to see who it was - it was 2 maintenance guys and one of them just said "sorry". N.B. check out time is 11 AM, and we had the DO NOT DISTURB sign put on our door!!! After my husband spoke to manager this morning, the manager (Franci) apologised and offered us a 50eur voucher. Sadly we won't be able to utilise it as we live abroad, and my husband explained that to the manager, but there was no other remedy offered - in my mind he could have taken that off our recent stay. On a positive note, the hotel's indoors kid play area is good for young kids, especially handy on a rainy morning, and the animators (whom i believe work for the entire complex, not just for this hotel) are excellent - Lia i believe was her name, really stood out.
