Travelodge Hotel - Plymouth Derriford

Stayed just the one night to visit the University of Plymouth. Checked in and found that room was clean, with a large double and 2 singles. Tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of tea bags etc. Bathroom was clean and large fluffy towels provided. We ate at the nearby pub, which was lovely, and had a fantastic meal, which was reasonably priced.. Noted that buses run into the centre of Plymouth on a frequent basis, although we opted for a taxi, which cost £8 each way. Overall a good stay and will visit again.

The location is superb, right by the hospital which is what we needed. The room was big with a very comfy bed and extra pillows. There were plenty of large towels which is always great! We requested travel cot which was up ready for us (it was incredibly hard though so we had to soften it with blankets so our baby could sleep). The bathroom was clean and shower was great. Only issue was the heat in the room. 20-24 degrees at all times and the window only opened a crack. There was very little noise. We’d return if needing to visit the hospital for sure.

Lovely refurbished hotel. Very clean. Lovely friendly staff. Ideal location as we had traveled up from Birmingham to visit our sister in derriford hospital. Nextdoor to jack rabbit pub.we have stayed in plenty of travelodges but none as nice as this
