The hotel is very beautiful but some of the room amenity choices was a bit odd. For the positives, the bathroom was clean and even had a grab bar near the toilet, which was a nice accessibility touch while the shower was perfectly functional. We had a nice large and comfortable bed and the decor was really lovely. We also had a little balcony but I suspect that was because we had a suite room. For the oddities, we didn't have a kettle or any way to make coffee and there was only one very small garbage can which was a bit inconvenient. The staff were fine, not overtly friendly (but that's normal in the Balkans) but were present and attentive. It's perfectly located right in the middle of the old town, walking distance from all the main sites and only a few minutes from the main pedestrian area.

What a great find. Middle of the Old Town. Spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Toiletries supplied. Excellent location. Basic breakfast but fresh and plenty. Would def recommend and would stay again as easy to get to town with amphitheatre within 5 minutes. Quiet in evenings. It’s a Boutique hotel but everything was well done and spotless

Great hotel. Good location short walk to many attractions. Room was amazing. Comfy bed. Great shower. We stayed 3 nights and no issues. Would stay again if return to Plovdiv. Owners were very pleasant to us.

We stayed for two nights in a very well decorated and clean room. However, by the time we arrived, the receptionist demanded that we paid again, even after we showed her the voucher with the word PAID!! In the end, she realized her mistake. The day after, they did not make the bed or tidy up the room or check if the room's essentials needed to be refilled.

By far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are well appointed and all have exquisite details. The views over the city from my bedroom and the restaurant and terrace were fantastic. Boris the owner is charming and will do anything he can to make your stay perfect. He also stocks the best selection of boutique Bulgarian wines in Plovdiv (and possibly in the whole of Bulgaria). Make sure you ask for a tour of the wine tasting room that Boris excavated, designed and built himself over a 10 year period. This is a true gem of an establishment with Boris’ vision and passion shining through.
